The responsibilies in marriage is damn heavy and very expensive. Sadly, nowadays ladies aren't helping matters with what they are earning, some of them are even idle(no job) and have become liability to guys. I guess guys are trying to avoid a senerio like this.

I disagree, I cannot chose a libability you must bring something, the likes of Iyaebe and the rest fantasize about Marriage where Hubby is paying for everything, but how feasible is that in this new economy ? if you; as a wife cannot contribute to the house-hold financially to a degree, then prepare for a resentful Husband who will do it, and believe he is owed more.

Today women receive same investment from parent unlike our ancestors but decided not to be productive.
Its better we stop sending the girl child to higher institution and know they're meant to be home keepers.
