Does this implies that UCAP Q1 result will be published today.?I needed clarification.

Results are published after board meeting and not before. After the board meeting, the result is send to the NGX for publication.

Ribena, Lucozade brands in Nigeria acquired by Africa FMCG for $14 millionThe new owner is expected to expand the business by leveraging on its robust supply chain management infrastructure.

 by Zainab Iwayemi

 April 12, 2022

Energy-boosting drinks Ribena and Lucozade brands are set to operate under a new owner, Africa FMCG Distribution Ltd (AFDL) following the acquisition from Suntory Beverage & Food Limited (SBF) for $14 million.

The deal which reportedly cost $7 million each for the transfer of share and loan would be completed in the second quarter of 2022 subject to a nod from regulatory authorities in Nigeria.

The new owner, AFDL is a subsidiary of Chanrai Summit Group, a multi-faceted company distributing products and is expected to expand the business by leveraging on its robust supply chain management infrastructure.

I got uba but veritas representing zenith bank is being fishy.. claimed my brokers haven't processed my purchase via cscs so I sent my cscs statement.
Claimed I haven't submitted edividend mandate form which was sent through my bank over a month ago so I sent the copy.
Still haven't received my dividend for zenith.
But their statement now is that my request is in process ...

Received !!!

I voted to Hold and watch as the underlying earnings has remained strong since 2021Q1 and continued gathering momentum till Q4. It was just the dividend that was painful.

Think all GT needed is one positive news to catapult it.

See the case of MTNN during the IPO time late last year.....I can remember MTNN went on full offer @171 and some wouldn't even touch it with a long pole then.......but today, its another story......
MTNN is currently selling @212 or so..... despite that it was marked down for N8.57 dividend.
Whereas, it was an opportunity for discerning investors who doesn't want to participate in the IPO to mop up @171 that time.
Lol. Don't mind this amateur. grin
Thank you dear

Thanks for your advice yesterday. I entered GTB yesterday at 23. I noticed it has zoomed off this morning. Hoping for the best.

Was lucky to buy some @ N23 today before it took off. Wen it was trading @N21.5 few days ago, I was waiting for it to fall further.

This can be likened to what happens when a once desirable and impeccable bride gets to her husbands house after the wedding ceremony and washes all the make-up off her face...

Her husband immediately asks himself, "what have I gotten myself into?".
