Sorry about your denials. I dnt necessarily think absence of 1 or 2 cover letters is a reason for refusal.
Your personal circumstances and that of your mom will be scrutinized even though your brother is sponsoring… they need to make sure that you both have reasons not to stay back and become illegal or to seek asylum.
Blur out personal details and post the refusal letters here, maybe we can help.
Anytime I sponsor family etc I write a cover letter to the ECO basically explaining who I am, what I do, who the visitor is to me, when they are coming, total trip duration, what I will be covering, documents I have attached, that the visitor will be leaving after such and such date, my happiness and readiness to speak to them if any additional info is needed etc
Then the visitor writes a cover letter to explain their own personal circumstances , their trip itinerary, home ties etc
Then I write an informal invitation letter to the visitor explaining my happiness to sponsor their trip etc.
this is just my way.
Thanks for your feedback.
Kindly find attached the refusal letter.
I appreciate your input or that of any member.
A genuine applicant that just escorting his mom and be back within the stipulated time.
Please how soon can we apply?

So sorry about your refusal. Is it TLS that sends the refusal letter or UK gov? I'm curious to know how and when it comes?

Can I appeal a refusal decision made on my application for a visit visa?

Gm boss... There's too many mistake in your application.... Firstly who is sponsoring this trip your son or your brother in the US

Also on the 13-05-2022 a large deposit was made before printing your statement of account the next day before submitting your application (this is a red flag)..

The total money in the chase account submitted was exactly the money you are planing to spend on your trip with your son which doesn't make sense to the Eco because it means he's emptying his account and does not have any other income or saving to feed himself after sponsoring you guys....

My advice for you is to keep your account as clean as possible and let your son save more to the tune of X2 of his current balance, then he can conviniently support your application next time ✌️✌️

Hello gurus

If a self employed is paying himself salary from his company’s account, Is it not ideal or is it a problem if the monthly payment is not a specific amount, say for example April 550k May 490k and June 485k.

Please is it logical for the ECO to think that it is normal that monthly income may not be the same amount?

Thanks
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Africankel(m): 10:39am On Jun 11, 2022
Advisable to stick to a particular amount. It shows stability.

Everything was done wrongly. So many red flags.
money lodgement
No proof of genuine relationship to sponsor
Sponsor unable to state residency status or show proof of how his money is earned
Sponsor wants to use all the money in account to find trip
Applicants have poor financial standing
Applicants generally did not do their homework. Cover letter was not even close to been an issue as you thought.

Hello everyone please I need some answers from anyone who has submitted UK application at TLS Ikeja office.
1) those passports photographs the photographers outside usually make us snap are they still required for us to take inside when we go for biometrics. I traveled once 8 years ago and so many things have changed. I knew I had to snap passport photos outside and submit same inside. Back then documents were submitted in hard copies but now it's online.
2) are phones allowed inside the TLS building? Do they have cubicles for us to store our devices till we are through or those persons/ business people we usually pay a token to watch over our bags are still outside the building? I'm speaking from memory of 8 years ago. And I'm wondering if to leave my phone at the hotel (don't know how safe this is) or I will have somewhere to store it at TLS.
Thanks everyone. I'm booked for a visit visa last week of this month.

Pls advice. What are the requirements for a minor to visit UK unaccompanied?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Bosslady25: 1:41pm On Jun 11, 2022
Good afternoon, everyone. Please, I need your advice again.
I got my 3rd visit refusal, May,2022( 1st-2007, 2nd- 2014)...nothing fraudulent.
My hubby got a UK masters admission in March,2022 and I intend to travel with him as a dependent.
Some weeks back, he decided that I should apply to the same school, I did and was given an unconditional offer too.
Now, I will be the main applicant with him sponsoring me. Note; he has never applied to any embassy before.
The issue now is, my siblings in the UK( they were born there), suggested getting an immigration lawyer to file for settlement for me and my family from Nigeria , instead of me spending money on a student visa.
My question is , how possible is this with me been in Nigeria? Should I still apply for the student visa and while they get an immigration lawyer when I get to the UK?
Please, advise on the best steps to take.

Quick question because I followed your story prior to this, on what basis did your siblings want you to file for settlement visa?

And I thought your hubby was already getting sorted which makes it easy for his dependent (You and his children) to be granted visas easily.

I don’t think you need to complicate things. But am sure there are others here who would have more advise for you.

And honestly why do you need an immigration solicitor?

she can visit when you are going.
no visa will be granted on such reasons. Grand aunt? Where are her parents? Why are her parents not traveling? What is genuine intention of trip… these alone will cancel her out
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 2:01pm On Jun 11, 2022
@brunobia hard copy passport photos have been scrapped out.. the visa partner TLS will take your photo by themselves
You allowed to go with ur phone, when you get into the building, you will be advised to switch them off

why won’t you just let your husband apply for a student visa as you initially planned and just work well to put all documents together and pray about it . It will be granted by the grace of God . Sometimes we don’t have a choice but to spend lots of money to achieve our aim. This settlement matter is complicated ooooo that’s even if there’s anything like that . But see what the gurus have to say .

Ok trust me the settlement thing is a bit too complicated in this scenario. I don’t even know which angle you can use to get through settlement. Your siblings cannot file for you, nor could your mother just because you are over 18 etc.

You guys would get your visas via your husband trust me, don’t be anxious and create confusion. Most people who are born in the UK don’t have any clue about what others go through when it comes to immigration. I had to learn about laws and speak to people on here to clue myself up. So pls don’t let anyone give you the wrong info.

If your husband is getting his stuff sorted out then you and your kids would GET your visas as his dependent, Once you are here then you can explore your rightful options before he (You and the kids) is due for renewal.

In my case I explained my monthly income varies depending on expenses and sales for the month so from my business income I transfer 4K ghs and 5k ghs to my personal account and this could be seen in my personal account as transfer from the business to my personal account monthly . I showed all source of funds cos I makes lots of sales daily . I live in Ghana . So I had to state 60 k ghs as my annual income cos I had stated I transfer between for 4K and 5k Ghana cedis to my personal account monthly . But please as advised you May need to stick to one amount so you don’t confuse the visa officer , i have traveled to the uk many times so I don’t know what helped my case. So May be best to just stick to a particular figure you can defend with documents.

not only your sponsor is culpable for this, you the applicants as well.
Your own end was wrong on all angles. Huge credit a day before visa appoinmnt, poor finances- not able to sponsor ur trip, low statemnt of acct and want to use up most of ur acct balance to go to UK to meet family members, no proof of relatnship etc.. like eco had to also doubt intention of trip.. zero for evryone if I must say.

Pls tell them this
You have to come to the UK on your own merit - study or work
They can’t sponsor siblings - no such route exists in the UK. Route allowed- one can sponsor spouse or minor kids - even that is a process as you probably know; parents is extremely difficult, almost impossible

She was born out of wedlock, my uncle and his ex-girlfriend abandoned her. I'm just trying to keep my promise. I want her to visit UK for two weeks and return back to Nigeria. She has been very depressed lately, I want to cheer her up.
