Hi guys .

Quick update .

I’m putting this out there for those who have initiated the form A process and have gotten approval but haven’t still been debited.

I submitted my application may 26 with hope of doing the whole form A and sending my tuition receipt via webform.
After getting the approval since June 1 , they dint debit me.

I went to stanbic head office at Walter Carrington on Monday , they said it’s not in their hands and there’s no allocation from CBN.

My mind told me to go there today again and this time around, to cause wahala aka wotowoto .
I sha went there to para that today is my deadline and I will loose my admission if the payment isn’t done today. ( my school doesn’t have a deadline , Infact tuition deposit isn’t compulsory)
The guy I met there was still telling me there’s no money on ground lol.
I started to para.

Anyways to cut the long story short, they just debited me 10 mins ago at the rate of N327.

Please if you’ve gotten approval since over 2 weeks , go to their head office to para.

They will debit you.
Nigerians don’t like the gentle and civilized way of doing thing.

Until you fight and shout , they won’t answer you.

Bro I really don’t know how this works but this is Naija, it’s not only the matter of them debiting you, shey dem don pay school the money ?

Please, isn't it 1 year living expense?! sad
Or is it different for self-sponsored applicants?
... Asking kindly.

If you are staying for 1 year, you will show 1 year living expenses: if you are staying for 2 years, you need to show 2 year living expenses or demonstrate that the fund is always readily available.

Wow!! Big congratulations to your family. Please did you indicate that your wife would be joining you in Canada while you were filling for your student visa?

Hello Abby12,

Ironically all applicants including me when applying to go alone without family always fill that spouse isn't accompanying in the IMM form. But then, I leveraged on the fact that;

1). Is approaching a year since I got my Study visa and one of the reasons I stated that why I haven't gone is I have never stayed away from my spouse for more than a month and would love her to atleast accompany me to settle then return back to Nigeria.

Note: even though it was an open work permit, I didn't mention about work. It was all about accompanying me to settle, the need to accompany me while I settle. When I mentioned companies where she can work, I didn't per say mentioned it like she is going to work there to earn pay, I aligned it to her gaining research experience (she is currently doing her PhD research) from the renowned companies based in province we are going to and also to use the knowledge gained from the companies to develop our family biz back home when she returns. Then God's grace did the rest.

So every application is unique. So let's learn use the uniqueness of our situations to our advantages.

That's my little advice.

Do you mean he is a Bachelors degree holder from a Nigerian University, and he is going for another Bachelors degree in Canada?

I’m not a bro o lol
I’m a lady .

Yes I heard after the payment , one has to ask for telex copy or something like that.
So I will do that on Monday.

The point is the debit signifies “progress”
Is better than the money being in my account.

Thanks for the encouragement....

Talking about sending emails and webforms, do one need to send emails to all of these mail addresses below, or just to lagos mail address.... a) nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca
b) lagosimmigration@international.gc.ca
c) nairobi@international.gc.ca
d) london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

Also for the webforms, kindly confirm I can only send to Nairobi............
NAIROBI WEBFORM
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=Nairobi

If possible, I will appreciate a sample of the mail, showing the basic contents I need to include.

Thanks as I await your response.

Yes you need to send a mail to each of the email addresses not only Lagos

Note that you are to send the email one by one to each email address, don't copy all the e-mail addresses at once and paste it on the TO section of your mail to send, it won't go.

In the links below are samples of mail you can draft and send to those email addresses and webforms based on your situation

Ok, well admission is one thing, visa approval is another thing. A BSc holder going for another Bsc is likely open to scrutiny by a Visa Officer and that could be a red flag on his Study Visa Application cos that shows no Academic Progression (Wrong Purpose of Visit).

For Academic Progression, if he has a minimum of 2.1 he should go for a Masters in a program related to his science degree.

If he has a 2.2 or 3rd class he should go for a PG Cert program related to his science degree.

For Career Progression, if he has work experience in a field not related to his Bsc degree, he can go for a PG Cert program related to his work experience at a college even though his Bsc degree is not in anyway related to his work experience. E.g a Microbiology graduate working as HR (Human Resource) can go for a PG Cert in an HR program

AHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Please you are more than 18yrs old, therefore you are eligible to own an account.

Furthermore, you are the applicant coming to Canada, you are expected to have at least your living expense with you.

Again, this your agent, ensure he gives you FULL ACCESS to your application after you submit and YOU ARE AWARE OF EACH DOCUMENT SUBMITTED IN ORDER TO AVOID HAD I KNOWN.
Is there any letter I can write to them. To assure them I will get the money or something..
