I am shocked at your mindset. Are you not concerned about the historical background of the person who is likely to lead you and your children for the next 4 possibly 8 years? Don't you want to know if the person has a criminal or questionable history? Don't you want to know how he was able to gain admission into a university without an o/level certificate? Did he impersonate someone else? Did he use "Oluwole" certificates? Was he admitted without O/level certificate?

At least the electorate he expects to vote for him deserves to know his academic history. Except you feel their opinions and votes don't matter.

Remember Gani Fawehinmi took this certificate issue all the way to the supreme court while Tinubu was governor. The issue remained unresolved as the supreme court threw out the case based on technicalities.
I'm not in support of a Tinubu presidency, but that doesnt mean I give a damn about his primary 6 certificate.... That's what I would term "a chasing after the wind", a useless and pointless quest, same nonsense that was done with Buhari in 2015 and 2019.

I absolutely dont care about his primary 6 result; the man already presented a bachelor's degree which is way more tangible than a primary 6 result. There's no way a person would gain admission into the university in the US, study through it, successfully graduate and have a career without having passed through primary school first.

Like someone wrote here, if the man didnt go through basic education but was able to successfully go through university, then you're suggesting the man is a genius.

Are you now telling us that if you go to your school to demand a certified true copy of your certificates, you will be denied?

Are you insinuating that people's that lose their certificates suddenly becomes certificateless and cannot get employment with their qualifications again?

So at 70 years u will go back to ur school to get ur certificate?

Even my primary school is almost non existent after being converted to a secondary school

Besides who is the one employing tinubu?

The man doesn't need employment. Only service

Okay.

The Chicago State University already confirmed that you schooled and graduated from the university with Honours.

That's enough for us. Anyone who did not go through Primary and Secondary education cannot survive the rigors of the university studying Business Administration with Accounting option and graduating as a prize winner.

The above is in contrast to a dummy that study a useless course Philosophy and graduated with a 3rd Class. If he has tried studying Sciences, or Engineering or Accounting like Tinubu, the useless idiot would have been expelled in 100 level for awful performance
I believe Chicago state university still has his files and from there he can get a copy of the secondary school certificate he used to gain admission. If worst come to worst let him get it from them. Why is he not considering that option if nothing is hidden grin

All my certificates.

So what's big deal
It is a very big deal oh. We can't afford to elect another slowpoke for the next 8 years.
Tinubu needs to write to his primary and secondary schools for a certificate replacement. ( That's if he actually went to school.)

He could have gained admission with fake certificates, he could have bought someone’s certificate and changed his identity to reflect the one on the certificate , he could have bought the degree certificate. Before the computerisation of results and certificates, impostors and certificate fraud was very common.

Let him bring secondary school certificate, leave primary. Atleast he used the Wasce to gain university admission.

The Chicago State University already confirmed that you schooled and graduated from the university with Honors, why not write to the school and request for all the documents submitted during admission.
you also worked with multi-nationals companies, you can get a copy from your file with HR.I think the issue here is not the certificate but date written on it.
Am a yoruba Man and such display of attitude of forgery need to be addressed.

Even if he never went to primary or secondary school, and simply went straight from the womb into Chicago State University, what does it matter as long as he graduated from an accredited institute of higher learning?

I really don't understand the point of an attack based on such pettifoggery, as it serves to discredit those who make it more than their intended victims. There are far better criticisms that could be made of Tinubu which don't require such mindless literalism, as if WAEC were the only legitimate determiner of education on the planet (are we saying someone who went to secondary school outside West Africa couldn't be president?), or a primary school certificate could ever carry more weight than a university degree from a reputable American institution (unlike the glorified degree mills that are most of Nigeria's universities).

This whole faux-controversy is more indicative of the low intellectual level of Nigerian political debate than it is of Tinubu's supposed shadiness. If Nigerians had the will and ability to discuss more substantive issues of policy and philosophical approaches to governance, there'd be no room for such imbecilic discussions.

If this same saga of Tinubu was made against an Igbo Presidential candidate, will you respond this same way as a patriotic Nigerian ??
Yes. I've defended both Oby Ezekwesili and Kingsley Moghalu several times on here over the past years. If there's anything that reeks of tribalism here, it's the insistence on attacking Tinubu for things such as his looks, his being a Muslim, his allegedly being from Osun, his being tried - and acquitted - while the PDP was in power, and now this nonsense about primary and secondary school certificates. It's not as if the man is lacking in meaningful weaknesses that are worth probing (e.g. his relationship to Alpha-Beta, his support for an abject failure like Buhari), so why always the below-the-belt rubbish like this?

INEC's requirement is a minimum of a WAEC result. The man already privided something higher, a bachelor's degree. After already satisfying INEC's requirement, why do you feel he's obligated to show you his waec result?

Even if he were guilty of all of those things, none of them would invalid the evidence that he studied at, and graduated from Chicago State University through his own efforts. As such, insisting on his primary and secondary certificates is utterly besides the point.

WEAC was able to issue PMB certificate that put his own to rest, I learned that Tinubu's own secondary school certificate issue has lingered for long while he was governor of Lagos state, why can't he look for a similar way as PMB for Waec to re-issue him one. Look at the degree Senator Orji Uzo Kalu had has been withdrawn by the University because he didn't merit or attended the program. Our leaders should be an example to the young ones.

Gbam. I pray someone revive Gani Fawehinmi's case. The Supreme Court threw out Gani's suit because of impunity. The Supreme Court threw out the case because Tinubu at that time had absolute immunity as a sitting governor.

After the immunity expired one Dr Dominic Adegbola revived the case, asking the court to compel the IG of Police to investigate Tinubu's qualifications. The Lagos State High Court dismissed the case with the stupid excuse that "an application must be filed before the court, within three months when the alleged fraudulent act was detected".

So you see the Zugzwang. When Tinubu was Governor, you cannot investigate his certificates because he has immunity. After he lost immunity, you cannot investigate his certificate because you have only 3 months to demand for an investigation after discovery of certificate fraud.

The keypoint to focus on is that he presented a bachelor's degree, which already meets the INEC minimum requirement. The man is therefore under no legal obligation to show you or anyone his waec or primary 6 result.

If you have any evidence that his bachelor's degree is fake, then that is when the man has a case to answer. Anything other than that is just another pure case of Nigerians chasing after nonsense while real issues deserving of attention are neglected.

Bola Tinubu should complete the INEC form before him. Is he going to hire Yemi Osibanjo again to defend him? Osibanjo was his Lawyer and now his opponent. Let him go back to those secondary school he attended besides any sound minded scholar travelling to USA with intention of studying must pick all his credentials for formal registration and related protocols.
