Abi some people don veiw result somehow
It may be due to: itchy fingers, fear, insider info (which may sometimes be read upside-down), current market situation brought about by MPR increase or whatever is pursuing the sellers.

My take, keep eye on it. I think below 5 is a good bargain if not inside the bus yet. If you're, exercise patience.

AGM is coming up on 11th August, one of the special biz to be discussed is Unissued Share Capital, not saying there'll be bonus issue oooo, but it's an option to be considered too.......the Unissued Shares may be cancelled, final decision is with the board.

Las las, na to wait and see the result before we go judge am. smiley

No they can’t, the Government would rather borrow from pension funds that default, they’ve already collected the unclaimed dividends fund lowkey.
A debt default is a very bad record on a country.

Now will need to start chasing this. Will start with email.

Possibly.
You can take some risks at below 49/50.......if you're a risk taker or if it aligns with your investment obj.
Coys with overseas parent company could sometimes deliver if entry is timed right.
Also, a lot has been discussed here about the brewery sector.....and, NB now has a tradition of paying interim Dividend (after exiting loss). May be worth the risk.
You can monitor the price mvmt to know when to enter too.

**Pls note that his is my personal opinion, DD is also advised**

Thank you @yMcy.

They can't borrow from pension fund. They can issue more bond offers, where pension funds can invest

Vote wisely in 2023. Peace!

Vote wisely?? grin grin grin

You want to build a house let's say in your village but you live abroad so you need someone that can build and that can also supervise everything related to building it! So you approach the king of the village seeking such a builder. The king presents 3 persons for the task and tells you to choose one:
(a) A fisherman
(b) A farmer
(c) A baker
Then he remarks "vote wisely"

Is this not laughable. Can you not see that you are doomed no matter how you vote?

Government can't just borrow from the pension fund, rather pension fund managers can invest in FGN bonds and other corporate bonds if they think such Investments are good and risk free to an extent

As a beginner you need simple books that can teach you the basics of stock investing.

Books like

1. Buying company shares the common sense way

2. The stock market wiz kid

3. Any other book that can teach you the basics of stock investing

Note: You don't have buy the two books bc they are similar. Any one of them that you read will give you the basic info about the stock market
