those that went into marriage yesterday with only money, where are they today?? They re divorced or in the process.
But, why do we then capitalize on money and nothing but money?

Unless modern women are like our mothers who don't see marriage as a permanent vacation to Miami, men should be financially stable before going into one.

This part confuses me. There are women who are doing better than their mothers and most people’s mothers both academically and professionally so are you implying these women don’t deserve vacations to Miami?

We need to stop selling this poverty narrative while whispering “men should be financially stable before marriage”

Pick a side man! Should men make more money or should women diminish their dreams and swallow *what* their basic lazy men bring to the table?

Good. So you agree women should be financially independent before getting married. So why are you modern women confusing us then?

1. The guy must definitely have a definite plan to increase their finances.

2. Depends on the lady.

3. This is where compatibility comes in.

Seems like a trap, if the individual (lady) is the opposite of the three points you stated above.

Absolutely, so also if a lazy guy meets a hard working lady, the ball can role either direction.

Re: Is This A Trap? (Picture attached) by Nobody: 4:56pm On Jan 06, 2023
I'm an introvert and I prefer having my own peace of mind and space... So two is enough for me, and I'd still want to enjoy my man after having the two kids.

But ten kids won't make it possible for me to still be able enjoy my man and I'm not a baby making machine.. grin grin grin

I agree, but it all depends on the people involved. If the girl is productive and didn't enter the marriage with the mindset of consuming, receiving, and feeling good only, then it will work.

Marriage should make the life of two people easier if it's done rightly. For example, it's cheaper for two people to rent together, eat/cook together, and do basically everything, since there is, for lack of a better analogy, ''economy of scale'' involved.

Unless modern women are like our mothers who don't see marriage as a permanent vacation to Miami, men should be financially stable before going into one.

Don't mind the bolded.

Just passing through...

Because she said she will share her finances with her husband? Please

The only problem women have with sharing finances is being married to a man who thinks his marriage operates with a traditional setting.

You could have waited for an answer to the emboldened, since an answer will probably make your second and third paragraph redundant.

Yes, every woman deserve a vacation to Miami and even to heaven, but we can both agree that a vacation in its very definition is temporary in nature, not permanent. And a journey of bliss not struggles.

What I truly meant by that analogy is that lots of women sees marriage as a place of enjoyment, not work and responsibilities. Men generally don't see it such .

When challenges comes, eg, reduction/loss of income from the man, many marriage go bad. She is in for the good times (like a vacation), and not the worse times, even if she said yes to the "for better, for worse" pledge on the alter".

Men are more realistic when it comes to marriage because all the burden of expenditure, performance, and leadership is in him, he can't afford to be idealistic. This may suggest why more men get married late or when financially stable, as evidenced by this thread.

we capitalise on money thinking that when we have money we have everything... whereas having only money will bring out the negativity in a marriage...

Lol. You’re an idealist and you speak with such conviction like you know people or even men! We can agree to disagree. Thank you for your time.

At least men brought something. What is the liability of a woman bringing to the table? Her borehole and family problems?

Those are your problems don’t make them ours. I’m sorry the women in your world only bring whatever you said. Those are your poverty induced problems.

Sorry to disappoint you, I'm not poor. I'm not rich either but I know I can feed your entire starving family.

By the way, 98% of you girls only bring problems into men's lives.

This is why men should embrace Baby Mama for peace of mind

Men should stop taking care of their wives or the vvomen in their lives..

Why should a sane man find joy in taking care of an adult in the name of marriage...

Men take care of yourself, woman take care of yourself..

Women have evolved, they are now working, earning salaries, so men you have to also evolve.

Take care of your parents your kids and yourself..

This is why a sane man will always opt for cohabitation..

Bills 50/50.

Is this a trap or it's true?

Some weeks ago, I was discussing with a technician who came to repair my generator.
He confided in me that he has miss great opportunities to become wealthy due to his early marriage.

He and his friend once had the opportunity of working in a factory in Europe but his wife put to bed within that period through caesarean section hence he could not raise the funds to travel to Europe.

His friend is now very wealthy and lives with his family in Hamburg.

Early marriage has advantages and disadvantages. It's main advantage is that you will likely have kids at young age. It's main disadvantage is that it will limit your adventures . A poor man needs to be adventious before he can defeat poverty.

Hence it will be difficult for a poor man who marries early to become wealthy unless his wife is from a wealthy family that is ready to assist him.

This is wisdom! Why take care of another man's child when she wouldn't have done that for you?

Your father is there. Your mother is there. Your siblings are there. Call them. Ask them if they need money. They will bless and appreciate you better than that ungrateful liability you are rearing and nursing at home

Wise words. Early marriage doesn't favour men. Do you know men can give birth at any time? Women enters menopause at 40. You see now? No menopause pipu push u. Take ur tym.

Last last, they go and fvck another man and will bring another man's children for you to labour on. The man go con get heart attack. Die finish. The woman go shed crocodile tears for a week and go back to fvcking another man

You want to be successful and live long, don't take women seriously. Except your mother and sisters of course. They love you unconditionally and that's why women hate their mother in-laws and sister in-laws
