The Lagos Train / Bus Crash Was Avoidable - Peter Obi by nlfpmod(mod):
I received the depressing news of a train collision with a BRT Staff Bus in Ikeja today, where precious lives were lost and several people wounded. We must at all cost, guard against accidents like this.

The many lives lost to such avoidable incidents are heart breaking. The relevant agencies and authorities must stand up to their responsibilities.

I commiserate with the bereaved families and hope the critically injured are given good medical care for quick recovery. We are united with you in this time of sorrow and pain. May God keep us all safe as we go about our daily lives. - PO

How? People should stop making statements just to score political points.

Obi is my man but let's be real. Can you control a stubborn or drunk driver? These BRT bus drivers drive like they own the road. Same applies to container carrier drivers and all those lorry drivers.
They just want to oppress and intimidate others with smaller vehicles.

There is a limit to what the government can do, we as individuals should learn to do better.

Every politician, who before now had never commiserate with victims of unfortunate incidents are now doing so for political reasons.

Wake up call to every Nigerian that this class of people do not really care about the welfare of the citizenry, but themselves and how best to facilitate their self-serving agenda.

To them, southeast is now a forgone region

They have decided to take SW as their home and also take control of lagos.

That ill-will of theirs will never fulfill
