Lagos was discovered and named by the Portuguese. Colonised by the British and conquered by Binis who named it EKO. A former nigerian federal capital that attracted and enjoyed resources and development from every part of the country.

In all history, there is no yoruba name for lagos. Yoruba and everyone in lagos are migrants.
Just like a certain drug kingpin from iragbiji, his govt officials and commissioners from osun, ogun, ondo oyo and other SW states.

So, no particular tribe can wholly lay claim to lagos as it is today. Lagos is a free for all zone that aspires to be like other egalitarian cities that promotes everyone.
