Lagos became 'de-tribalised' the moment it became the Headquarters of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It automatically became home to ALL Nigerians since then. I think that's why some people see Lagos as 'no-man's land', perhaps the right word to use is a 'de-tribalised' land.
