University of Salford takes around 2–3 weeks to issue CAS once all the necessary documents have been provided, including your tuition deposit. However, it's always best to chase them for it with constant calls and emails because they are most likely overwhelmed by the number of people files they have to attend to.

Good morning great minds on here, a friend on a study Visa In the UK wants to come to Nigeria in september this year to marry his girlfriend and then she applies for a dependant VISA. His post graduate programme ends January 2024 and his Study VISA expires MAY 2024. I want to ask about their chances of getting this done successfully based on the time left on his programme and Study VISA. Please help shed more light on this guys.

The question should be how soon does he intend to apply for her visa after getting married, as long as it is done before his current visa expires, I would further advice before his study end date Jan 2024,simply because he may wish to apply for a graduate visa before May 2024 and he needs to ensure his dependant arrives before doing so. If this is put into consideration then that should be fine

2. The onus is to ensure there is enough evidence to show that the marriage/relationship is real

Please I need your advise, I have paid my initial deposit and it has been acknowledge (September intake) I got a questionnaire that if I have been denied Visa in UK OR other countries
YES or NO

I have been denied Visa in US, Germany and France. My fear is, if I agree and they because of that reject me or I said No, and they find out I lied.

I'm just confused, some guys said I should not agree that, UK can not access or find out if I was rejected in those countries.

Others said I should say yes and explained the reasons.

Someone in the school WhatsApp said his friend in Boston University said YES, and he lost his admission.

Pls help me, I need your advise

My own application just move to vac yesterday and went there to pick my passport with stubborn head and I was given after given the staff wahala that my travel ticket is near.

My advice to you it’s to say No to your school questionnaire because if you say yes, they might refuse you CAS, so just say no but when applying for your student visa kindly answer yes, you don’t want to lie to UKVI to get ban. That’s what I did and it worked for me
