Don't be surprised if GTB gets to N55 in the next 2 years.

Anyone among Obi, Atiku or Tinubu is for the market.

Yar Adua was bad for the market, same with the current government.

In the last 30 years, Obasanjo is still the best for the market

The market capitalization was N600 billion when Obasanjo came on board and grew to N10 Trillion at the end of his tenure.

The height of it all was when the All Share Index got to 66,000 sometimes in 2006

The all time high of the the ASI is 66,000 and remains elusive in the last 17 years

Hopefully it might touch it again in the next 4 years.

My opinion though

But I know that our stocks are ridiculously cheap.

I am a bit lucky with my instincts but I always try to underestimate my forecast to give room for errors, the 4 years is a worst case scenario , we should get their in 18 months

The refineries were sold about 17 years ago, late Yar Adua came and reversed it and took us back 20 years and tens of billions of dollars spent on turn around maintenance of the moribund Kaduna and Port Harcourt refineries.

Costing tax payers billions of Naira to pay salaries of workers who are not producing, making profits nor adding value.

Sorry guys for going political jor

Don't give price target wtout condition so newbies will not be buying high hopping in a short distance time it will get to 55 it happened 2016-17 when FPIs we're around. For the newbies don't buy any stock high ooo before wonders will happen finally FPIs has to be around.

Yes they are cheap but still can't fly more than the purchasing power of whoever entity that are buying for now they can't keep buying to sustain the bull u are anticipating unless $1000/740k guys comes in and that is the fact. If u are aware of what is happening globally u will know that no FPIs are coming for now cos they are even predicting global crash by q3 2023 this is what I have to go and do findings on my own when Oracle said we should expect lower lows, I don't discard I do my personal findings too. Until then fingers cross. Newbies again beware of October rush.

Always complete this info, it was when FPIs came in and were bidding anything on NSE Peter ololo all got margin loans to help bid all both dead and living stocks on NSE and when the Asian tiger left what was the outcome? We lost part of our investment, and still holding some dead stock up till now. Under okere as DG of nse then no control every dick and Harry doing as they like manipulating prices anyhow. So how will u say that was fair under obj? When Asian tiger left market crashed as many people lost their lives some were strocked till date I know of someone who put 40m In market then today the value doesn't worth 1m with dead stocks and those bought at outrageous prices

I am talking about the business and what it should be worth. I am not a trader, I see my shareholding as a part ownership in a thriving business

Compare the profitability, size and sustainability of the business in 2006 when it was N55 or thereabout to the current profitability, size and resilience of the business.

When u see 10% rise almost everyday then u know they are around and they do it across board of all perceived good stocks by them. They clear at any price since the purchasing power is super.

In 2006 it wasn't only GTb that was high. The sluggish uba was selling for N54 and Gtb also sold for N55 in 2016-2017 still FPIs we're around.

High based on what?

Is it based on the earnings?

Based on the dividends?

Based on the growth?

Based on the return on invested capital?

Based on the return on equity?

Doubt if there is any banking stock that is currently high, for a medium to long term investor, but might be currently high for a jijoist

In 2006, I started moving rebalancing my portfolio by selling the banking and insurance stocks to buy the likes of PZ, Unilever, Okomu, Seven Up, Nestle and those manufacturing real products.

Zenith even got to N70 with a dividend of about N1.00.

We knew the market was due for a crash between 2005 and 2007, we just did not know when it would happen
