When we need loans to finance our business ideas, that is the time we will know whether we have been buying assets or liabilities over the years, or we have been using all our past earnings for consumption or savings/investments 3 Likes 1 Share |

emmanuelewumi: Of course. It's even ridiculous for him to expect that kind of loan but my point is that we shouldn't be quick to judge... Unless he's truly been a chronic gambler |

When people are derogatory and abusive it shows you who they are. Especially when they know better. What have you done in this life, there is someone better and smarter than you. If you are a millionaire, there are billionaires, if you are a billionaire, there is elon musk, even if you are Elon, there is the descendants of Rockefeller with old money established through generations and never worked a day in their life. It takes courage to show vulnerability. Should I have to say all this, especially on a Sunday to fathers. Or is this how you raise your kids 10 Likes |

Harvestock01: Farming is a difficult terrain In Naija.... Esp at the production level... The value chain is chaotic... D Zimbabwe farmers in Kwara tried it.... Most of them left Naija... D only surviving one moved to Poultry... Cos he controls the value chain ...from top to bottom... They hatched their eggs from day old... They farm their raw materials and mill their feeds.... Feed their birds..slaughter and refrigerate in their cold room and sell at their outlet.. This is the best way to do farming in Naija.. 11 Likes 1 Share |

emmanuelewumi: So you are confidently saying you couldn't have passed your message WITHOUT using the word "clownish" or that that word is a fitting one to help him assimilate and appreciate your guidance? One would've thought that you'd easily comprehend the point I was trying to put out there. ...you ought to know better bro! But there's really no point going back and forth on this. Do take care. 11 Likes |

Agbalowomeri: Agba pls read my 1st post to @ emaewunmi and the 2nd one you just replied to. ...read them again and try to make sense of the words; APPROACH & MANNER and how both relate to and can infact impact on the efficacy of a counsel or advice given to someone. Need I remind you that one of the most effective way of dishing out advice/guidance is by putting oneself in the recipient's shoes and NEVER being JUDGEMENTAL. Where these 2 are lacking, chances are that your counsel/advice will less likely be taken or have little or no impact when taken. Most of the views and feedback that was given to the fellow (@ Thazd) were absolutely in order! ...I was infact typing to advice him along a similar line before I stumbled on emaewunmi's post. In trying to give or offer advice, we should try even more to be HUMAN. I am NOT against the message/guide, I am against THE WAY IT WAS GIVEN. Again, guidance can always be given without been OVERINDULGENT or HARSH. @ Pa emaewunmi can do better! And if you still nurse the same views as earlier or still see nothing wrong in the way he addressed the said fellow, then am sorry I can not help you. Do take care bro. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Momentum in Presco is to the downside. Declining moving averages Okomu gives the same signals in fact with a cross for confirmation BUT the increased volume in the past week is the only contrasting indicator. Not so much of a shock because 9 weeks ago, the volume was insane with price staying unchanged (dividend buys, maybe). Otherwise, it is not looking good in the nearest term for either stock. No! This is not FA. 2 Likes |

ositadima1: Of course, I would mind! And pls let's leave out that tag. ...no one is a celebrity here, INCLUDING ME. Some persons are just more privileged than others, and that, ONLY by DEVINE GRACE! Just because Mr A & B has it going on well in life doesn't mean that Mr X & Y should be treated tactlessly, sloppily or indifferently. At the risk of sounding a bit too modest, we are all here to learn, relearn and help each other grow. ...and if that's still what this honourable platform stands for, then WE ALL should endeavor to address each other in a responsible and respectful manner. locodemy:Some more checks..... * There's nothing like huge OS for MBenefit if we consider the % owned by substantial shareholders with 5% and above as well as individuals with 1B and above... * From my estimate, free float is around 4.45B representing about 21% of the total 20.061Billion OS. * The Coy operates its Microfinance bank now..... * Moved from -ve eps to +ve in the 2022 financial year.....as well as 2023 first quarter..... * If this improvement is maintained, maybe the stock may also join league of Dividend payers in future.... ** As for reconstruction, well I don't know about that for now.......maybe/maybe not.. ** You may do some checks and DD too..... ** I plan to check Regency and compare....but not now.. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The truth was told to the guy seeking the 5M loan. But harshly. Noone will give him that loan the way he has presented his case. The message could ve been passed without some of the words and aggression. Let's be kind to people around us. It's possible to work for 3 years without any savings. I know graduates who ve worked for years without any savings. There are many who are finding it difficult to even feed themselves and families. 6 Likes |

yMcy56: Madam mercy, it looks like everything will fly. If Rt briscoe is flying again after poor results, why won't MB do well in price. For comparism of stocks,I am too good for that especially those kobo ones. Coming to os, Regency has about 6B Coming to Eps, Regency has about 10kobo eps in Q1 2023. Coming to Q1 Revenue and PAT, Regency has an improved earning compared to the previous. Coming to corporate governance, they have done better than MB in the last 5 years. Coming to dividends, Regency has done better than MB in the last 5 years I wonder why the price is kept so low when factor those facts. All things being equal, Mr market will position the 2 accordingly but there is more rewards in Regency.Thats the only kobo kobo insurance stock I will look at from Tuesday if cash is available. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

leparj: Oga Emma has said the truth. Even the words he used can't be reversed now. The type of Loan the guy is looking for can't be given by any bank. I raised my own investment capital through church meeting/family contributions.I controlled the meeting for years and luckily it favoured me for the period before I exited it. Today,I don't even go close to any bank for loans.I have some digital Loans available for me based on turnover and I don't even touch them.If I need any loan today, I will use one of my registered properties in the city to get it within 24hrs at a reduced interest rate.Unsecured loans have a very high interest rates which is not good for a beginner. Pa Emma remains our mentor no matter the words he used on the guy.The guy can borrow from my method to build his empire. It takes years to get it right and you must start from some where. It must not be from a bank. Since he needs 5m without collateral, let him think out how to gain control of a public fund for at least one good year without any collateral or legal processes involved.Luck might follow him as it happened to me. 17 Likes 1 Share |
