Nazgul:una dey sleep.. That 300 naira is because they heard that subsidy gas been removed, the selfish nature of Nigeria kicks in even tho they still have old stock they are selling, that's how wicked Nigerias are.. Let me tell u that fuel will be more than 300 per litre. It is from 400 and above to 600 per liter when the effect of subsidy removal kicks in. 3 Likes 1 Share |

How do you create panic on your day of inauguration? Panic buying has started already. Prices are being adjusted. Did you really need to mention the removal 9f subsidy? That's surely a misstep even though the intentions are noble. 7 Likes |

Nazgul: Dangote or no Dangote, the price might hover between 500-700. You also have the issue of the exchange rate to factor in. Crude oil is priced in dollars. A litre of Brent is $0.49. Multiply it by 700 and you get N343, Then you have the refining cost etc. |

Xxxxtentacion2: Do you even read or understand my post. Who is talking about cheap fuel from Dangote, I was only talking about landing cost, which will not be there anymore and subsequently reduce market selling price. 1 Like |

Nazgul: For where?? The only advantage of Dangote refinery I can think of is that it might try in eliminating scarcity. That's all not price. Where did you even hear that Dangote refinery can reduce price? |

Yugoslavia247:you can choose to believe or not. They sell because they need naira and they sell most of the time to CBN. That's just IOC that I am sure of. I am sure other industry that transact mostly in usd too will sell to CBN. |

Nazgul:No, fuel is going to cost way more with subsidy removal. Also, dangote is a private company and he will sell to make profit. The interesting thing is fuel prices will vary when subsidy gets removed. It's going to be largely dependent on crude price and and other minors like distance from refinery. Fuel might cost over 500. |

Yugoslavia247:All those dollars that would have otherwise been used for fuel importation will be less demanded, hence reducing the cost of a dollar/appreciating the naira. It's that simple. |

Looks like Tinubu is yet to understand Nigerians. He should be aware of what his casual comment about subsidy removal has caused and also be aware how his subordinates will syphon the subsidy funds. We would come to realise that Nigerians is the problem of Nigeria. Tinubu has accrued more enemies who are ready to undermine his governance even more than Buhari had. More than 6m obedients are ready to overturn every policy he makes just for the sake of expressing their dissatisfaction. Nigeria cannot be tamed. May we be saved from the hands of hopeless opportunists. 1 Like |
