That depends on the restaurant and the type of food ordered. Again 12k shouldn't cause drama. The lady should have paid or go Dutch ( split the bills). Believe me if the bill had gone higher I would be the first to mock the lady. If the lady didn't pick the venue the man is at fault here. He should have cut his coat according to his size, the lady isn't a soothsayer to know how much he has in his pocket. He probably gave the rich dude vibe too. A mature man would pay the bills or request to split and either cut ties with the lady or make his grievance known to her. Lol, it may not necessarily be food or eating like a glutton. An order can be a cocktail or some snacks or some foreign dish that won't even reach down ones throat before it finish . Drama ensued at a restaurant after a Nigerian lady ordered food which cost N12,000 while on a date with a guy.

The man who took her out refused to pay the bill and it led to an argument between the two of them as he stormed out of the establishment and tried to leave her behind.

Always eat what you can comfortably pay for as a lady please. This has nothing to do with being rich or broke but to avoid embarrassment, coz this is embarrassing and it was intentional. If what you want to have is 15k no problem but make sure you can pay for it if the guy can't, it's nothing personal.
