Hello house

How is everybody doing? I’m sorry if this message would be lengthy(Please bear with me), Good Morning, I have been a ardent follower of the travel section on NL(I just opened this account to stay anonymous). I want to make some inquires that’s so important to next step I take in this point of my life.

Firstly, I’m 25 years old. I finished my secondary school education since 2015 but couldn’t further more because of some unfortunate situation then, I just did my WAEC examination in 2021. Since 2015 till now, I have been learning programming, but now I want to japa cause my future in Nigeria is looking very blurry day by day.

To my question, what much can I do with my WAEC result in regard to traveling, I had a good result but I don’t know where to start from exactly. I would appreciate some tips from the expert in the house. Thank you 🙏

I and my wife are inviting my step mum for my graduation. Can I write the travel itinerary for my step mum, using the third form of communication?

Good morning !

A friend of mine has a very big challenge in the Uk. He is on student visa unfortunately he was sick and diagnosed of dyslexia and stayed in the house and hospital for some months.

This whole period, the school was notified about his illness and they followed up. At the moment his is very fine but cannot continue because he is not financially buoyant and also his grades will be impacted and he told the school he would like his studies suspended but the condition of suspension of studies required he leaves the country.

He therefore needs advise on what to do as he is scared they might not give him visa if he applied again please make who na choke mouth for this matter.

Thank you

Greetings to everyone

A few days I sent the message enclosed with regards to my wife's visa application. However, I am pleased to announce that I have collected our passports, which have been issued with visas accordingly . I would like to express my gratitude to all those who provided their suggestions, particularly @Cashmadam, @Olaide2, and @Thegamingorca. In the end, I opted to send an email along with copies of her Visa fee payment receipt and checklist. Our application was submitted on Thursday, June 01, and we received a notification for passport pick-up on Wednesday, June 14.

trav:
Dear House,

I kindly seek your urgent advice regarding a situation I am currently facing. I recently applied for a UK visitor visa for myself, my wife, and two children. The application was submitted as a family unit at the Ikeja office last week on Thursday. I applied for a 5-year visa for both myself and my wife, while opting for a 2-year visa for our children. We even opted for the flexi service.

Today, I received emails notifying me that my application and those of my children have arrived at the Decision Making Centre and are awaiting consideration. However, my wife received a different email stating that she applied in the wrong category. The email invites her to withdraw the application within five days, or else a decision will be made based on the information they currently have. This has left me extremely confused because we all applied for the Standard visitor visa category, and I personally completed and submitted all the applications, ensuring that the information was consistent across all forms and the document checklists.

An email to confirm her application withdrawal was provided, but the issue is perplexing because we applied together as a family for visitor visas. I am at a loss as to how a wrong category could be applicable to my wife. We are both unsure about what steps to take now. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Dyslexia is a learning disorder not a sickness and that couldn't have kept him in the hospital, come correct first boss

Please fam, I recently applied for a 2year visa, I used my uncle as sponsor, he gave me his company account bank statement with reference letter from bank which has a busy running credit and debit transactions but the closing balance is not upto 3M. Though on the statement, last day opening balance was upto 9M but before they end of the day when the statement was printed, the balance came down below 3M. On his sponsorship letter, he pledged 1.4M on my travel expenses. It's my second application, I've been to UK once.
Hope this won't affect my application.

Thank you

This is not the real story. Person does not go to hospital for Dyslexia.
If the real story is that he has no funds then is school will revoke support for his study visa and he must leave,

Post the real true story for advice.

Hello

Is this a joke??

Dyslexia is a learning difficulty. What was he doing at the hospital??

I am dyslexic, there is no treatment for it..I can imagine how people have laughed at this situation

If he can't finish his studies he should prepare to go home

Cheers

Hello,
Sharing a timeline
Standard Visitor
( non priority service )
Biometrics 7th of June ( Ikeja)
Transferred the same day 7th June June.
Email received on the 11th of June (Sunday lol ) from DMC.
Nothing yet!

Thank you for your visa/entry clearance application which has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days and settlement applications within 60 working days (unless you have opted for a Priority Visa service).

We are unable to resolve your application within these customer service targets, due to operational restrictions. Please be assured that we will continue to progress your application to enable a decision to be made as soon as possible.

Please do not attend the application centre until you have been contacted by the VAC.

Kind regards
Croydon DMC

Definitely generic I won’t let it bother me as 2 different emails received almost the same time.
They now have some bunch of jokers at the DMC in Croydon, you will be surprised that they don’t even read most of the cover letters or pay attention to your applications, you see some of their refusal letters not constructed well I no no if na A levels students they recruited to email you it is when they make a big error and you fire them an email back they run to the case worker and you get a reply on time.
The DMC in Liverpool are better I saw timeline of those who submitted their biometrics around end of May and they got their pick up email this week ending although they are in ASIAN countries ( people from the current PM place) na dem dey rule now.
For everyone waiting hang in there to be honest PRAYER is the key regardless on how perfect your application or cover letter is you can still be pushed out of the window.
Good luck everyone.

your father will fund the trip to another country, and there is only less than 2 thousand pounds in there, when you stated you intend to spend 4,500 pounds on a two week trip, as a student. Oh wrong naw! You Sef reason am.

Even if he were to fund on the basis of him not wanting to do another thing with money than to sponsor a full grown adult in another country who is on student visa on a trip, is that how you will blow the old man's money in a foreign land? The ECO was begging you to tender justice with mercy and reduce that money next time and reduce the days you say you will spend there so that it can enter the budget. After the visa is granted, you are entitled to stay for as long as you want within the visa timeframe.

Strike 3
There is no knowledge of his financial standings, where he works, how much he rakes in per month after monthly expenditure and Other gbogbue!
Ofcourse you couldn't tender your own account cos you are merely a student grin
If indeed you had the 4,5pounds lodged somewhere instead of being stingy, you could have been depositing it back to your father to help him fatten up his account pending on the trip you are about to undergo for 3 to 4 months. (Lodgement will not work). How can he have less than 1,5 pound in his account and you intend to make him embark on emptying everything there plus borrow from all your supposed neighbors?

The errors are all too glaring that I'm annoyed. undecided

good morning house, please i have two questions.

1. i have two properties ,one is residential while the other is used for registered commercial activity but both have no C of O ( still in process with ogun state government) I have proof of land purchase and agreement but no government stamps on them. i want to know if those documents are acceptable enough
2. My disposable income is 350k,is that enough for a 7 day visit to the uk ?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Seeker2023: 9:49am On Jun 17, 2023
I earn income from my two businesses into same account, one is described as salary while the other is described as allowance, does this allowance earning qualify as another income ? i asked this question since it is paid into same account as my salary account.

Thank you for your response, this time I plan to make it a 3days trip and he wants to transfer 2.5m to me with gift of deed and also affidavit of sponsorship. I plan to include all his business documents and Npc and family members birth certificates with Gift of deed of transfer of ownership of his 3plots of land in Nigeria. I also plan on including my school transcript, proof of studentship enrollment letter and and my school id and residence permit with sop and loe. Don’t know if this will strength my ties. Please I need your advise and anything else you think I can do for a successful application
