I am yet to understand how someone who should be one flesh with his wife would go around doing shit all in the name of being the head. You're a leader, do so by example.

There's a responsibility for both gender. Women should respect, men should love “as Christ loved”. The appendage sef is for men.

How about doing the right thing and stop looking for who to “lord” around.
It's easy to identify as a head but living up to the standards of a head, is too difficult. Christ was without sin. In as much as we ain't him, we are trying to be like him. But he asks you to love as he loved the church!
You can't be hurting someone you love.
You and I know that Christ's love and Him being a jealous God ain't the same thing.

Your problem is that you see man and woman as same. We are not same. We can't be same.

Christ loves the church ( the church is not made of one person). It will be unreasonable for a member of the church to want Christ to love ONLY him.
Christ is the husband. Christians are the bride.
Christ loves all christian but a true christian can not/should not love another god except Him.

A true woman should not love another man except her husband.
But men(like Christ) should love all members of the church - women, as in this case.
