The lady asked him of his residency status and he was honest with her. He decided to reach out to this lady same day, he discovered the lady had blocked his line everywhere including whatsapp😆😆

To be honest, previous Nigerian men have spoilt our reputation, which is why the ladies are very sceptical when Nigerian men without stable papers approach them. Over here, it is the same thing because either some of the Nigerian men jilted the Japanese women leaving them to raise biracial children all alone or used them for papers. Then, would you expect a girl from such a union to see Nigerian men in a good light? No. I have a friend who is suffering from this as the biracial girls are sceptical towards his interest in them.

The reason I agree with 1Sharon that immigrants should either settle their immigration status before attempting to date those with papers or date fellow immigrants. Marriage is a transaction, both parties should come to the table on almost equal terms.

It's a reality that some people behave badly , just in it for the papers but stories abound of genuine couples as well. Come to think of it, it can be extremely impossible to be honest about intentions when in a dire straits. For example, I want to be honest and ask a lady if she can help me with regularising my status - do actually think she would find that reasonable? I can beat my chest that a man is more likely to help a sister in need.
