Good morning to everyone...Am going through some difficult time with IOM and I know am not the only one in this,I was able to book my TB test last week(9th of August) and I was scheduled for 14th August,I made transfer to the account rolled out by their customer care (Standard Chartered Bank) and message them with the Booking appointment confirmation message and payment receipt,till the booking day they didn't get back to me so I went to IOM on that Monday (14th August) but we were told we are holding draft appointment not yet confirmed (over 50persons were in this on that Monday) We were told to go back home and message them with our passports and payment confirmation and I did email them on that Monday they replied me on Tuesday to send my passports in PDF format which I did immediately and till now they haven't reply me even after sending messages everyday till this morning nothing yet... Pls if anyone know what else I can do or anyone who's in the same situation like mine and have been able to solve the problem. 😠😡

Going for biometrics tomorrow which documents do I have to carry along? I did self service. Please help o

I guess you have to enter before the start of your program.
Why do you need an agent to book your flight? Go on wakanow or travelstart and search for flights yourself. Or you check the particular airline you want to use and search directly on their website.

Wakanow is not it. Don’t try it. Their reviews online a warning to everyone.

My brother it’s not the same for me.
I use them every time and have never had a problem for once.
Either them or travelstart but travelstart is difficult to reach by any means incase you need to change ticket. But wakanow is easily reachable.

Hello to all the gurus in the house.
I submitted my CV and also My CAC certificate for study gap during application. I started running my own business in from 2019.
I just got a mail That I should provide official , verifiable documents to demonstrate what i have been doing since graduation again.

2014 till 2019, i was working with a financial firm, I still have my employment letter but the letter has my salary on it and also the company is not active on CAC, I also have a letter from the company acknowledging my resignation but the letter was addressed to my pension company to get my benefit.
2019 till date : i have my business name registered and its active on CAC till date. ( I sell thrift wears)

I dont know how best to respond to this . kindly advice as Ineed to treat this as a matter of urgency. PLS HELP ME

@omotem Send the employment letter for financial firm. It doesn’t matter the salary written on it. What’s important is that you were working. Also do not worry about your employer’s cac status as you have left the place since 2019. Then send evidence you have for the remaining years. Goodluck

They are now slow to reply but they will reply. Send another email with all the required information and receipt again incase your email is now at the bottom in their inbox seeing as many of you are in the same position

You declared the passport missing? You didn’t contact the embassy first about your passport? There are two scenario here, either the agent never submitted your application or he never collected your passport from the embassy. If he never submitted it then a missing passport is not a problem, but he if submitted it and never collected it back, then I don’t know it could maybe be a problem. Didn’t you receive any emails from the embassy or anything?

But the two document I didn’t provide are the hotel and flight reservations and he paid for my appointment and everything else.


The problem now is I don’t how this agent provided this two documents mentioned above.

I can’t 100% say about the genuineness of this reservations as I didn’t book them myself.

The agent was not honest, I started to notice this very late and honestly that was when I knew oh now I need to sit right and find out what was going on.

But it was too late as my application has already been submitted weeks before..

Another question pls, they asked us to explain why we collected our children birth certificate in 2020 because one is 5yrs and another one is 8yrs. And they also want us to show the relationship we have with each child.

You went for a biometric right, you know the visa category you opted for, your name and passport number should be enough information for them to trace your application. And you can’t trust agents, they can be very nasty. Just because you gave genuine supporting documents those not stop him for using fakes on your application. Maybe you should still contact the embassy or go there in person. You know your previous passport number right? That might help.

Is the new passport having details linking the old one?

Anyway you did biometrics then so your prints are already in the system. In other words, once dey check your prints again and match it with your old history, your old passport and what transpired back then will come to light. So whether you change the passport won't actually save you from what's coming if the previous one was wrought with atrocities and lies.

There must be a way to know the outcome of that one you used agent for. Hmmmm Don't tell me the email of the visa was addressed to that agent
