Afamed:I just tire o. These people keep crying more than the bereaved. Their people are here in Lagos crying for help, but they will ignore them. Instead, they are trying to help people who are comfortably at home. They speak Igbo in Alaba, Computer village, Ladipo, Trade fair, and those people have invested trillions in those locations. AlexBells and gang, go and seize those territories for your brothers. |

Wutinky: Moba Yorubas were settled in Moba Lagos well before the 9th Century before Oduduwa whose Son Oranmiyan established the Benin Throne and Kingdom was Born They are currently classified with the Awori people but we're in Lagos many Centuries earlier In the 10th Century when the first Owa Obokun of Ilesha fetched from the Lagos Sea Water to cure Oduduwa's blindness there were already Moba Yorubas. In Lagos and he spent 2 months with them The idol Worshippers Olokun diety was actually a Moba King called Seniade that ruled from an Island off the coast of Lagos that has now been Submerged by the Sea. The Moba built the UNESCO world heritage 9th Century Eredo Wall near Ijebu and their kingdom included many Islands off the Coast of Lagos They have now been included with the Awori people but we're actually the Original Inhabitants of Lagos and were in Lagos Centuries before Oduduwa was Born The Oore of Otun Ekiti migrated from Moba in Lagos Moba is near Victoria Island and their Crown predates Oduduwa's own Yorubas forefathers might not have been great at Technology but God Almighty definitely gave them Prodigious History Art and Music All Glory be to God Almighty https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8J7SXJzGuLM?si=r9vlK6L3Z4NEXAEn

Gerhards: It is not Propaganda it is the Truth Go and visit the king of Moba so he can fill you in on the Pre Oduduwa History of Lagos Is the 160km Eredo Wall not there for you to inspect and Authenticate it was built by the Moba Yoruba People before Oduduwa was Born It is part of our evidence Part of it is in Lagos State It was built by Yorubas Ancestors there is a City inside it as well and is available for immediate inspection it was built in the 9th Century by Yorubas Some Carbon dated it to the 6th Century but at least 8 Moba Kings had ruled before Seniade who was deified as Olokun and he had ruled long before Oduduwa was born You sound disappointed |

AlexBells: You cannot split the Ubani stock into two. Bonny and Opobo are together called the Ubani tribe of Igboland. Wherever Opobo goes, Bonny naturally follows, because both are one. And the destiny of Ubani is tied together with the Ngwa and Ndoki people who are the aboriginal founders. The elders of Ngwa, Ndoki and Amaigbo should rise up and act as kingmakers in these two great Igbo islands. Ngwa and Ndoki people should work together with Bonny indigenes because they all are of the same Igbo lineage. In the same vein, Amaigbo people must play a broader part in the decision-making process at Opobo because Mbanaso Ozurumba (King Jaja) the founder of Opobo came from that part of Igboland. The Igbo nation cannot be silent in these serious matters. Currently, identity crisis has caused a huge confusion in the mindset of the Bonny and Opobo indigenes. But in due time, the false history and fraudulent narratives stirring this confusion shall be called out and Ubani people shall be liberated and unified with their Igbo brothers. We do not dispute the presence of Ijaw in these two Igbo islands, however, their number is small compared to the population of the Igbo indigenes. More than 90% of Bonny and Opobo indigenes have Igbo ancestry because the land was founded and peopled by the Igbo. 1 Like |

Donarozzi:The narratives you gave is those of history, when you are ready to give those of war, I would take you serious. History and blood ancestry is nothing when the battle line is drawn. The question is would you be willing to enlist to fight for Bonny and Opobo. Nobody really cares about reason but the ability to take by force. |
Re: Ijaws And Igbos Only, Let's Explore Peaceful Setlements In Opobo And Bonny by Donarozzi: 3:03am On Dec 01, 2023 |
AlexBells: Blood is thicker than water. Bonny and Opobo people know deep inside their hearts that they are Igbo. The Igbo nation will never wage a war in order to unify any Igbo tribe with the larger Igbo populace. And when it comes to Igbo unification, there shall be no referendum because a referendum in this situation is an insulting vote that questions the Igboness of an authentic Igbo tribe and as such gives a section of Igbo people a mischievous chance to decide whether to opt in or opt out of the Igbo nation. Referendum does not determine where a tribe truly belongs. What Igbo leadership needs to do is to reach out and have a brotherly dialogue with the people of Bonny and Opobo, embrace them in concrete terms as part of the Igbo nation, ask them to disregard the fraudulent political narrative that ascribes their origin to a different nation, engage them in a debate on their origin using linguistic, sociocultural and historical records, encourage them to uphold the Igbo language as a sacred ancestral inheritance which points to their true origin, advise them to ward off any ideology that threatens to supplant the Igbo language with a different language, embolden them to assert their Igbo identity by giving their children Igbo names and by taking the Nze na Ozo titles, and cordially empower them with strategic positions in various Igbo organizations. |

Since I was given a mention by the OP lemme drop my 2cent to the topic. 1). Opobo and Bonny are not ibo lands but true and true Ijaw. 2). No time wud we share share Bonny for ijaws and Opobo for Ibo, that will be the greatest joke taken too far. 3). You ibos haven't protected yourselves from herdsmen na Opobo n Bonny una wan protect. 4). Sorry to disappoint you man, all your write up smell of sea route to the ocean. 5). Lastly, you can't wage any war against Opobo or Bonny even if you try, you will suffer losses never heard of, don't play. You have been warned. I also want to say this, last time I was in Opobo, one of your fellow miscreants said I am lying that he was in Opobo then. I asked him to show face at the waterfront as it is a popular area in Opobo, he chickened out. I also asked him to show any place of his choice, he didn't. I don't deny where I come from, never. The Opobo man will never do that. So whatever this silly write up aim to achieve, it won't work. Good morning Ijaw Nation 2 Likes |

AlexBells: What a movie this could have been. You are a good story teller. All this has nothing to do with love for Opobo or Bonny but just to have sea access. Whenever you are ready to war, I will be in Opobo to defend it as an Ijaw territory any time any day, and of course, it would be a sweet victory for we the ijaws as we have advantages as sea people 2 Likes |

christistruth01: You are a disgrace and a person of low intellect. What brought about displaying documents and all this 'Shalaye'. if truely Lagos belongs to Yorubas, you will not be arguing publicly with another person. Has anyone ever disputed the ownership of Ibadan or Abeokuta with Yorubas? Why always Lagos? The truth is very obvious, which is Lagos does not belong to Yorubas. When Nigeria eventually disintegrates, the real owner of Lagos will take over, and they are the Binis. |

@RobbStark you have said it all. They have been seeking access to the sea from time immemorial. Everyone knows that where there's sea access there's MONEY! Some wise Ibo men are cashing out honestly from seaport activities, but these ones want it all to themselves. @AlexBells and his Biafra gang: You guys should manage River Niger. The Nigerian government has tried over the years with some level of infrastructure vis-a-vis the first and second Niger bridges. If you need dredging I'm sure the government would still help you so you guys can go ahead and form your BLP (Biafra Liberation Pirates), and do what you know how to do best within the distance between the two bridges. |
