Yeah...I love them for all the sacrifices they made for the black man to be free! I love Martins Luther Kings and other great black Americans whose bloods, sweats and tears watered the trees bearing the fruits of freedom we all enjoy today!

Even by today’s standards, In terms of academic achievement Blacks have the lowest standards of all races/ethnicities. I can provide sources if necessary whether you’re looking at SAT, ACT scores, Reading Scores and GPA. They are the lowest even Hispanics outperform Black Americans academically and that’s embarrassing because many Hispanics are coming from poor third world countries where they either didn’t go to school or didn’t receive education in English yet they still outperform BA.

Oh well at least you’re not delusional to the extent that you create a therapeutic history. But you’re still wrong on many fronts. But I agree with some.
1. It was always so- Africa and the Black World has always been far behind not just Europe but virtually the entire world. Asian Civilisations were far more sophisticated than any of Africa. The same can be said for Mesoamerica.

2. I’m not denying that Blacks whether that is in the US or other parts of the world didn’t create Inventions. But those inventions were dwarfed by other ethnic groups/continents. In the US, Blacks haven’t made anywhere near the quantity or quality of inventions as whites or Asians. Initially, It was Whites that powered the US in terms of the US’s industrial development. Not saying that Blacks didn’t contribute. They did. But the whites took the lion share. Even till today, US Tech and Academia is still very much dominated by whites

The paper does confirm what you’re saying is true that blacks did invent a lot but obviously nowhere as much as their white counterparts.
The US’s industrial rise was because of Europe and Asia. It was largely Europe but as time goes on. Asians are the ones sustaining America’s lead in Science and Technology. America didn’t really kick off as a country till the late 19th century. 85-90% of Current US Industries and Infrastructure came after WW2.

The reason America took off as a country boils down to a couple of factors.

1. The Great Wars and Cold War: Europe,Asia, Latin America, Africa and pretty much the entire world was very badly affected by the wars particularly Europe and Asia with the exception of America that wasn’t affected by the world wars. But it grew because the great wars meant that all of America’s rivals were reduced to rubble. It was the last standing industrialised country. America at that point became like what China is to the world today. The world factory. It was the military industrial complex that led to the US selling weapons to allied powers, giving loans to other countries and getting most of the gold in the world leading to things like Bretton Woods which created dollar hegemony which is a pillar of US hegemony. Great Wars knocked out America’s competitors, made it the world’s factory and led to people from other parts of the world emigrating to the US. Cold War with Soviets led to the country spending obscene amounts of money for R and D establishing its leadership in science and technology.

2. Immigration- The film Oppenheimer is centred around this change of leadership in science and technology. Up until WW2, Europe not America was the centre of science, technology and innovation. For most of America’s history, Europeans viewed the US as a backwater of a republic and that view even remains today to a certain extent. The Brits were the ones that gave the Americans crucial technology during the world. America just became the leader in science and technology because there was a serious of influx of Europeans from the 1880s up until the 1970s. In the 20th Century, America for most of it was around 90% White because of the influx of Europeans coming there and it even increased more so when the USSR collapsed, destabilising Eastern Europe and many Eastern Europeans fled and are still fleeing to the US. If not for Europe and to a less extent Asia, American innovation wouldn’t be anywhere what it is today. US leadership in science and technology would be non-existent. The US brain drained Europe and took their best minds such as Einstein, Nikola Tesla, Alexander Graham Bell and so on during the Great Wars.
Thus, what Shokoloko and her brain dead+deluded supporters were stating is absolute nonsense. Europeans and to a lesser extent Asians for the large part (not all part) built America its industries, infrastructure, made it innovative as well as sustained its leadership in science and technology. That is a fact and a well established fact.

3. This isn’t revisionist history. This is history period. The reason why Blacks and African societies didn’t innovate or prosper or develop like how Asians, Europeans and even Latino societies is because of culture and the fact that the black world has a victim mentality more so than any other part of the world. History is never black and white. No one is completely innocent or entirely guilty. There are two sides of the coin. Africa was not the only region of the world to be colonised. Asia and Latin America were too but they didn’t fare anywhere as badly as Africa did. The same way that Blacks weren’t the only ones in the US to have a tough time. Everyone did. Blacks, Hispanics, Asians and even the whites themselves. The Irish along with the Chinese that built most of the railroads in the country were indentured and put under terrible working conditions. Look at the Chinese Exclusion Act, The US banned people from China. That act is a reason why the Asian population in the US is nowhere as big as it could have. But it is growing as Asians are the fastest growing demographic in the country faster than even Latinos. They held Japanese and Germans in concentration camps during WW2. Till today,There is a lot of Asian hate in the West especially during COVID. But Asian Americans didn’t allow that to stop them from becoming what they are which is the most successful ethnic group in America.

The same way that the US of today will be unrecognisable of the US in a century’s time. Very little of what is in America today was built by levels. In fact,Whatever the slaves built in America was destroyed by the North in the Ciivl War. Slaves were overwhelmingly concentrated in the South. But the South was levelled by the end of the civil war and wasn’t rebuilt till after WW2.
What matters is the present and the future. History is history. We can’t change that.

And it is clear by what you even admitted that BA community is in disarray compared to other ethnic groups. They certainly aren’t the ones building the America of today or the America of the future. Whites built the America of the 19th and 20th century. But Asians and Latinos are building the US of 21st century and beyond.

The America of 100 years ago is not the same America of today. The America of today will not be the same as the America in 100 years time. Infrastructure is being destroyed, New ones are being built. Industries are dying. Industries are evolving. New industries are also being built. Thus it’s pointless to claim who built X country because the builders are always changing. It’s not static. How much of US infrastructure and industries that the slaves built do you think is still there? Very little. Look at buildings such as the White House, Slaves built it at first but it was destroyed and the building was reconstructed by Truman entirely. It’s a ship of Theseus. Blacks only built certain sections to the American south as that’s where they mostly reside even till today. But whatever they built was destroyed by the Union Army at the end of the Civil War. The American South was only rebuilt after WW2. At a time when the US was 90% white.

Whites built the America of 19th and 20th century. But in the 21st century, It is certainly not the Blacks or even whites that driving the US forward. It’s the Asian and Latino immigrants. They are replacing BA. Look at the demographics of US construction workers, labour force, agriculture and innovation. Asian ingenuity is maintaining US leadership in innovation,Science and Technology. Latino Labour is maintaining and building the current and new infrastructure of the nation.Latinos are 46% of construction labourers. It’s the Latinos and Asians that are building modern America, not the blacks which is far important, They are the ones building the America of tomorrow. Up to 40% of the country will be Asian or a Latin by 2060.

Blacks didn’t build the America of the past. The US is not just Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and so on. It’s a continental sized nation. The Western USA which is the biggest and fastest growing region of the country was built by whites, Asians and Hispanics. They never even made more than 20% of the country. How can they build what they aren’t even in for the most part? Slaves for the large part were uneducated, even till today Black Americans still lag woefully behind other ethnicities/races in academics whether that is literary rates, reading performance, GPA or test results. They come last. Most of the worst schools and colleges in the nation are black dominated. Slaves were performing menial tasks not inventing things.
