We had housemaids and so many relatives that came to live with us at one point or another while growing up and my blessed mother God rest her soul took great care of them all which some of them testified to this. sometimes things don't really happened the way it's on picture, I once took my family out and requested everyone to make their orders, while my first son asked for frid rice and chicken,my second asked for chicken source and rice , my wife for frid rice and salad my house help asked for meat pie and minerals while my boys demanded for holandia, I and my wife rejected her oder but she insisted that was what she wants that she has eaten rice at home before coming of which we all eat the same rice at home... Now after the boys could not finish their food she started eat them to make sure nothing was wasted.
Now if somebody was watching us the person could have read meaning to it that was far from the fact...so let's stop looking for issues that we don't understand and can't give account of.

So my friend if you see this picture anywhere chances are that that child is being maltreated. See her dressing, her demeanor, and if you watched the video you’d see where the girl actually said she was hungry which made the woman give her two or three hot slaps.

Maids or house helps are one of the things that make living in Nigeria fun for the rich and okay families with young kids, but unfortunately heartless, selfish Nigerian married women aren't appreciating such rare opportunity that doesn't exist abroad.


Instead they have made many struggling Nigerian parents swear never to allow their kids live with anybody.


If you stop your wife from having a house help and she is working like you, your kids will suffer, your home will hardly look neat and tidy, house helps do wonderful jobs at home that deserve serious commendation but our wicked married Nigerian women have been abusing it sadly.


I think the best is to employ a grown up person.


Sometimes I wonder what's difficult in caring and loving any child living with you as your own child that our women can't do without causing drama.


And it's not as if they are the ones bringing the money yet they can't happily enjoy the money a man brings with everyone at home.



Like one old man I once met would say, women are necessary evil.

I have seen this picture before but refused to come to a conclusion but on a 2nd note the woman is evil and wicked. And many ppl are like that. A reason why Nigeria is the way it is. Someone you bring into your house and pay peanuts to be a maid to cook, wash, go on errands, clean and take care of the children. She cannot even let the girl sit on the same table with the family. Okay, the maid was bought food (which I doubt) but from where the girl is seated says it all.

They aren't needed, invest in extra gadgets. Like i said before, the men are also culpable if they do nothing about it.

Childcare is supposed to be between you and your wife. The issue is that you guys mainly leave house chores to to the woman even though she may work just as much as you.

The children are yours too.

The closest thing to househelps abroad are nannies, but they are paid and leave at the end of their shift.

The average household handles house chores between the husband and wife.

Nigeria households should consider doing the same and stop having strangers in your home.
