We were making 100% to 130% on ROI, when dollar got to N1,600.

With N7m, you will make N14m.

I don't care how you, or rest of the country feels, after all, if you were in my shoes, you would wish the same.

Lol ........if you don't care how others feel means you are not different from our greedy politicians,
Life is easy when we think of humanity..... cheers

Do we pray the Russia/Ukraine war continues and our daily oil production keeps increasing while DANGOTE and PH refineries start selling?

Those combinations would make Naira appreciate more, so long CBN doesn’t rest by tightening all loosened ends.

Similar situation like that above analogy was what helped GEJ era but they blew the chances. No thanks to our state governors then, as well.

You will see the rush to dump the dollar by people the moment it gets to 1000.
Truth is that these politicians and leaders are the major ones hoarding dollars in billions and causing it to rise. When they want it to fall they will still dump it and make it fall.

I wonder what they are doing with all the hoarded currency anyway. Some are in forgotten underground tanks. Some have been eaten by rats. Some have been destroyed by rain. Why keep what you cannot use? Why?

Lol you can clearly see the FG pumping USD to crash the price but you still cling to this Binance nonsense. 😂
Many Abokis selling USD were getting their price from Binance and many speculators formed a ring where they were using multiple accounts to manipulate the price. If you were conversant with crypto, you'd understand how this works.

Don't, after all some people, I didn't mention any name o. Said it will get to N5,000.00 to a dollar. You can wait till it gets to N5,000.00. You would have made enough profit through hoarding by then.

When it finally gets to where Buhari left it, then we can have a conversation.
Until then... 🙄

Can you imagine?
So Buhari is now a standard? Seriously? When did that thing become a standard? No wonder he said people will miss him.
You should be talking of taking it back to where Buhari met it. Because Buhari killed the Naira. Where did Buhari meet the Naira? That is where it should be taken to. That is the least one can accept.

even the dollar value of last year isn't same this year, all currencies are losing values sir, so expecting it return back to 216 is just a vane dream, as at 2015 it was achievable due to excess crude account but now we are importing and our sales power is low.
so 216 was not ok then..but 1900 is ok by 2024

Seems like short term plan as we don't have export capacity to earn fx to support this but it's a very welcome development.

Export activities develop over time. The current challenge is to dislodge those waging economic and financial war against the country through round tripping, hoarding, arbitrage of foreign currencies. Those who will wish anything negative happen to Nigeria because their preferred candidate lost an election.

From another point of view, I think government knows what they are doing.
Next month minimum wage will be due for review.
They will want to push the dollar as low as possible so that whatever minimum wage they announce will still sound reasonable considering the prevailing dollar to Naira exchange rate as at when the new minimum wage is announced.

So if they push dollar to 800 naira per dollar and announce 80k as minimum wage Nigerians will say "oh that is fair enough".
What if this is the game plan? grin grin cheesy cheesy grin grin grin grin

You have to dump. Don’t just sell. Get a product online that you can resell to make an additional profit, so you don’t lose too much
