Worshipping in the same church or different churches is not the same as serving God. What matters is the condition the hearts of the couple are with God.

I see no big deal, though for the sake of the kids it will be ideal to attend same church.

You're right. The thing is, my cousin has been going steady with this guy for almost 3 years now..... Not so long ago, he got converted to a new church (don't wanna name it). Ever since then, he's changed.
They were supposed to get married next year. This babe is a banker.. .......
The guy is so anti- everything. Anti-dresses, anti-hair attachments, even anti-relaxer!
That's not all. The doctrines? Outrageous! She feels she won't be able to cope and I dunno what to tell her.

I perceive incompatibility of beliefs/faith here. Let your cousin run, period. The man is more of a religious bigot than a christian. It is religious bigotry that is pushing some members of one of the major religions to incessant killings world over. The spirit of religion is an evil spirit manifesting in hatred ,intolerance or even murder; which are classified by the bible as the works of the flesh.

That's why we say so called love is not the first and centre in marraige but purpose and the quest to attain it.

'Love him but I don't like his....' sounds a lot more hollow and childish than 'this will not take me where God has sent me'.

It should be a very important matter... You risk an unpleasant marriage if you choose to marry a man with different Christian faiths, especially when you dislike his denomination... And you risk your spiritual health if you just choose to align yourself to any church cos your hubby attends there... It's a matter that should be taken with the utmost seriousness

Seriously, she's got no choice. A family that prays together stays together. One mind, one doctrine and one direction. 'She was a committed member of her church when I met her, her last worship was our wedding in that church tongue lol

u must follow ur huzy to his church. thats y u must consider somethings before falling in love. if u claim u love him n u want the family to grow in love u shld attend dsame church. i n my huzy to be dont attend dsame church but, immediately after our wedding next year i am porting to his church. there is no two way about it.

This question need not to arise in the first place,we must understand that there is No Divisions/Segregation in Christianity. But our church Founders(GO),Church Leaders, Made it so,mainly for there own selfishness and greed. JESUS is the Head of The Church,The author and Finisher of our Faith, We have one Heavenly FATHER WHO ALSO GIVES US HIS HOLY SPIRIT,SO THAT WE CRY"ABBA FATHER".JESUS PRAYED TO THE FATHER( passionately)THAT we Should BE ONE.Even as they are one. We all worshiped and prayed to the FATHER IN JESUS NAME.

I used to hate a particular church untill I fell in love with memeber of that church. I think when u are truly in love with some1, u sud also be in love with whatever d person does or loves... I can't wait to join my wife to be in worshiping in her church grin grin grin

It's a hoax.

Look at NL. Full of religious freaks, yet its full of ungodly behavior. Just like the world we live in.
It's easy to claim the title and easier to not practice it.

Of course, it is the man's church. However, if you are concerned about the church he goes, you can discuss it with him. Sometimes, the man can reach compromise with you.
