What the judge told the guy is true. That principle exist in the judiciary. But judges also differ in their temperaments and it is not mandatory one goes that line. There is also danger in failing to observe the provisions of the law. It's might end up being Buhari' own albatross.
In observing the said principle, the judge will be concerned with how to avoid blood letting. He will consider what the plaintiffs stand to lose which is not much and the tendency that the plaintiffs and their beneficiaries will cos violence is slim cos they are civilized. But Buhari' followers are less civilized and might destroy the country, so if the judge is week, he may dismiss the case, but if he is strong, he may allow the law take its course. The APC press statement is designed to intimidate the judge ahead of the ruling which is very bad. It speaks volumes about their character and the kind of government they plan to run. I asked a friend's father who is a judge at a federal high court about what do judges normally do in such cases like this one e.g concerning buhari qualification or disqualification,,he gave me an answer that "shocked"me,he quoted the bible and said"blessed is the man that acted with wisdom"..and i asked him what is he trying to say,he said "wisdom is more stronger than law"""and he kept quiet,then i started thinking to myself what is this man trying to say then i later found out from him that the court will dismiss the case for the sake of "peace and unity"in the country,i told him but nobody is above the "law"he replied and said,"wisdom is above the law".....

This was my take on the case. It could have been different had PDP and their supporters filed the suit last year. No sane judge will give judgment on the case. For the interest of peace. I did say in my previous post, the judge will likely dismiss the suit on technical ground or adjourn the case till after elections.
