hello house,
Pls i am filling the education history section for the EE application.
One of the questions asked on the form am filling is if i have ECA for the degrees am filling. WES only assessed my UK Masters degree. If I answer NO for secondary and B.Sc and then YES for M.Sc will this affect my eligibility. Should I fill the details of my Masters degree only or include those of my secondary school and B.Sc ?
Has anyone been in such situation? House pls help

No it definitely won't affect your eligibility. Put yes for Master's and no for the others. That's what I did and I've submitted my application. Regards.

From the looks of this, might be a while before the points drop back to the 400 range.. Possibly, till all the slots for each province has been filled up.

I just got a message on my CIC account.

The message goes like this;

Dear ........................................,

The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.

If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program.

You can find general information about each province or territory's PNP program on the CIC website. You will also find a link to Ontario's PNP requirements and contact information.

Hoping to get some guide on the next steps to take on securing the PNP

What this means is that the Government of Ontario must have selected your profile from EE pool entry.

What you need to do is to formally apply for the Ontario PNP. Ensure you have all the required documents you submitted when you filled your EE profile, get more details here. http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/prodconsum/groups/csc/@oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps.pdf

After you have submitted all required documents, they will probably compare your stats with other candidates.
If selected, you will be sent a letter from the Government of Ontario confirming you have been short-listed.
You should then update your EE profile stating you've got a provincial nomination, then get ready for your ITA

NB note that you have 45 days to apply to the province of Ontario once you receive that mail sent to you, otherwise know as PT
Thats all.

Hello house and
@ jesusdway,

I would like to know some things about the FDSW process.

i am about to apply for the IETSL this month

- i saw a comment about school sending transcript to WES.
Right now i have my transcript wih me ( i applied to collect it recently) and also WES verifying it came from my school, can i still request for transcript from my school again to be sent to WES?

- i am yet to be married to my fiancee, but i would be considering that next year. Will she also take IETSL and also apply for all the steps which i am to apply for?

Thanks

Hi guys,

Please who has evaluated a LASU transcript before? I received a mail from WES that my document has been sent to LASU for verification. Don't know if they reply promptly to such request or do I have to go to the school to push? any information will be useful

Another thing is that I just requested for my transcript from the school last week, which my contact inform me that same has not been sent, but I did send them my Cert. Does it mean that the transcript is not required any more?

We might just use yours as a case study just so WES in case you get evaluated without transcript grin. From what we know, the WES evaluation for CIC purpose is basically to determine the equivalent in Canadian Education, as i observed on their website that they have a different service for evaluating your qualification on a course by course basis. Seem most people get their evaluation ready in 8days after WES has confirmed receipt of verification from your school and if you consider the number of applications, you may wonder how they could finish in 8days. Who knows, maybe they just need the transcript to see you completed all courses and proof to them you truly have a degree, they possibly keep the transcript in a file for you grin. Most schools take your first degree to offer you admission for Masters and as such, WES evaluation may also be based on that and so, the transcripts may just be "due process" cheesy(these are just postulations o, nothing authoritative)

Anyway, i advise you fast-track getting your transcripts and forward to them on time while you should also monitor the request for verification and find a way by which it gets to them on time.

Thanks Oga JesusDway

I know sending of transcript is one of the prerequisite of getting one's degree evaluated, hence my being surprise. see screen shot of the msg i got from WES.

Anyways the lady helping me with the transcript ish said I should check back on Friday. Also i was suppose to pay her for the courier once the transcript is ready. If WES doesn't need it again, abeg make them tell me so I could save some change grin grin grin grin...

Still waiting for reply from anyone who can provide information regarding verification period from LASU...... I need to start swimming in this pool of life asap grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Did you receive a 2nd mail "required documents update" almost at the same time saying "Rejected" under status of documents required.

Cos I have a somewhat similar situation.
I collected my ICAN transcript and mailed to WES by myself, i included a 2nd envelope containing a copy of my OAU transcript and OAU/ICAN certificates. Since I had already assessed my OAU with CES,I didn't request transcript to be sent to WES. I included a copy of my CES assessment.
WES wrote me to say they have sent photocopies of my documents to OAU for verification and placed my file on hold until they receive a written response. Now I have no idea what that means cos I have no intention of requesting transcript again for WES. I've asked them twice/thrice to delete the OAU from my application since I'm unable to do so from my profile and release my ICAN assessment. No show yet.

NO I have not receive any other mail.

Perhaps you shouldn't have included any thing related to OAU since you had no intention of evaluating same. Continue mailing them, quoting your reference number, hopefully they get to reply.

BTW who has an idea how they verifyu from the school, is it through email message or they send letter to the school?

..Congrats broda... you may find this link helpful. http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL.html#display. And Please do not waste time, apply sharp sharp. Ontario is the socio-economic hub of Canada. There is a lot of job opportunities. And it's a home away from home. Naija boku there. By the way, please what's your current CRS score?

Depends on the school really.
My school was via mail, University of Ibadan.
Best bet is for people to go to exam and records department and inquire.

Goodmorning...
I am so sorry if anyone gets offended by what i want to write... but I want to suggest like someone did at the beginning of the year that Solomonwis or anyone start a new thread for EE... i noticed that many people dont comment here anymore, and many have moved to other forums like canadavisa n all.
I am not being selfish as i need information on both the old style n the EE right now, but it honestly hasnt been easy reading this thread unlike before, because one statement could be about EE and the next about last yr applicants. It will be alot easier for EE applicants to
Oh well, It is just a suggestion... i feel we r losing posters n readers here that could share their experience at the interview, landing etc here. Pls u guys that av gone for interview, landed etc update us.... respect to yall esp Solomwis n Damkollins
Enjoy your day.
