This thread would have made sense if the lady is a virgin or a born again christian or a dedicated muslim who does not engage in pre-marital sex.
If the lady is none of those, then there is nothing strange or bad about getting her pregnant before marriage.

One can never tell how many abortions a lady have done in the past and yes many ladies tend to hav fertility issues these days due to pills used in the past to avoid pregnancy.

Too bad premarital sex is a sin but for me o i will do intro and engagement but no belle no marriage.

My mum's immediate younger sister has been married since 1994 and has no child yet. she and her husband are still together and living as one beleiving God can still answer their prayers. it makes me wonder why married ppl with kids still end up divorcing or separating

Child bearing is not the only reason for divorce.. neither is infidelity.

Kudos to your Aunty and her husband.. Couples that divorce because of fertility issues should never have been married in the first place.

The request for pre marital pregnancy originates from pre marital sexual experiences. Hardly can a man ask for the formal without experiencing the later. So if the foundation is faulty, the righteous cannot do anything. Let discourage pre- marital sex before attacking pre-marital pregnancy. Can you buy gari without tasting it ?.You turn gari to Eba after tasting it and be sure of its quality. Our sermon should be against tasting of gari before buying is so that the buyer will not be in a hurry to ask for it to be transformed to Eba without following cultural and religious due process.

The parents take the blame for this already common trend! Fil and mil wants to know. Fob and mob will wanna prove they have a well trained daughter and so, yield to the pressure.


I thought the altar would stop this trend by firing from all cylinders, but it seems the reasons given are so frightful that even when the priest or pastor says "if you know any.... Why these two cant be joined in holy matrimony, let him or her speak or FOREVER REMAIN SILENT!?!!"

So on point. seen many ladies forming born again sisters nowadays after wild past times. Some of us are really lucky having a fertile woman. Have few frnds having saved & spent so much on r/ship & marriage, are still praying, fasting & spending on fertility. As if their "ogi" don expire. So sad! Yet the doc will say they are vry ok.
