This is the consent form
http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/212243.pdf

You either notarized at the Embassy or Notary public

abiscomama:
For previous el Paso moms, whose hubby wasn't around for baby's delivery...

Where did you get the consent form notarized?embassy or court?

For those whose hubby wasn't around even in Nigeria, how did you notarize the form?

22 weeks? Leave and come back at 32 weeks. Prepare well for your return. Tell them the truth at point of entry armed with your dr's correspondence, and plenty CASH

I second that.@ Tejudollar If possible Leave now soo. U can return earlier.
Btw I deduce u omittedwhat happened at the ist point. What did u tell the cbp was your purpose for being in the US? Also which date did your return Ticket bear?
Cos I just see it that a trap was set for u to punish you for omitting too divulge your pregnant status. (My opinion o!)No fall into that trap oo!

is it Laurie that'll register and accept payment or where? And that thing about registering and paying one month to due date or else u won't enjoy the package isn't true?
Ahhh, I didn't ask for her name, I don't know about that, I just decided to register and pay to avoid stories that touch. My due date no reach one month. I paid same $2300 and collected receipt.

Your other option is to file for an extension. Check for how to file for an extension online.

Modified..
Your story doesnt add up tho. Its obvious you went for birthing. Filing for extension does not mean u would get it and if it is not approved you would be required to leave US immediately...Like others have adviced; since you are just 22 weeks go back to Nigeria and come back at btw 32 - 34 weeks. Before leaving, get a hospital and doctor and make part payment if possible.

Good day all. I need an advice, travelled to united states and was stamped the normal 6 months stay at the immigration point. Later directed for secondary inspection where my bags were searched and my fitness of stay was found which showed i was 22 weeks pregnant and since i planned returning back in two weeks time.
I told the officer i was, fortunately i wasnt turned back but he reduced mi stay to one month. During my stay, i had an issue that made me to see a doc who told me to stay off stress and rest well. My host and hubby are suggesting i stay back to deliver. but dnt know how to go about, where to go to show that i can pay the bills and the doctor report and all. Because also the cons of overstaying the limited stay to give birth here. Wuld appreciate you can all advice me on what to do.

Hello fellas!
Y'all may notice that the previous Houston vigilante bug has been transmitted from Houston cbp to New York cbp and vice versa.

Now Houston is even. More accommodating whilst the NYC JFK cbp are now beaming search light on naija preggies apparently.

Didn't know after due diligence and honesty dey ll still go ahead and stamp dat dear lady just 3 months stay (exactly one day after her apparent exit from the states as stated on her itinerary).

Those running away from Houston, guess u should have a rethink...

Try PG hospital, baltimore, Maryland. Total fee a friend paid was between 6500 and 7000 for childbirth in 2014.
If you're thinking of flying at over 36 weeks, consider Delta airlines, i heard they don't care how far gone your pregnancy is. I can only hope with you that labour doesn't start in the plane.

Dam which one is PG in Baltimore please?
cheers

Really if you did not go for birthing in the first place then come back to Nigeria. No need for quibbling.

The doctor has said you should stay off stress rest well. There is plenty rest in Nigeria.

If you truly went to birth and did not declare at POE and got found out, that's is when your info request here is applicable.

Let's be straightforward when requesting for info on here.

As others have said, you can come back, and then return to the US with better preparation. You still have time, at 22 weeks.

@annonymous mum your response to Tejudollar is on point! You echoed my concerns to her narration. @Teju please if you're really 22weeks your best bet is to go and return rather than plying the complex route of filing for an extension ...we've all been reading other Poe testimonies, think you should have told the first officer you were pregnant considering that your fit to fly info could have been fished out at the secondary inspection point . Wish you the best , your situation can only be straightened out at this point by making the wise but costly decision of sticking to your affirmation to them and Travelling back, please be more open when you return to avoid similar situation reoccurring .

No, the billing center, it's the next building from doctor E's office, ground floor. Just ask her receptionist or anybody for the billing/ registration dept,

Honestly eh! The thing is worrisome. Person go post half info and feel no one can decode the holes in the story. If u just went to merely visit werrin them see apart from fitness to fly that will make them reduce the time.
Travelling at 22 weeks just to visit and return? Hm! Even me sceptical.
Well I no know if your pocket deep pass Diezani own sha o! cheesy

You need the embassy notarised consent form, they do not accept the court one.

From the little research i have done, Extension approval can take between 10 - 14 weeks to get a response from USCIS. If she is denied an extension that means she would have to leave the US at maybe 34 or 36 weeks and would be too far gone to make the return journey. If one is denied an extension and the person doesnt leave immediately the visa automatically becomes invalid. The best thing to do is to go back and come back better prepared. If she was about 32 weeks or more then it would have made more sense to take the risk. There is also a possibility that she would be granted an extension. Teju weigh your options and take calculated risk...

I'm just laughing here.... Detectives full this thread..... Hahhahahahhaaha.

The cbp knew in ur 2weeks vacation, you'll visit d Hospital and u'll end up needing rest... That's why he intentionally reduced ur stay to 1 month so that after ur 2 Weeks or so, u will rest an extra 2 Weeks, rest on d plane back to Naija and continue the rest at home on ur bed......

But anyway good luck and keep us posted
