Same old story, Op said male undergraduates shouldn't be in a relationship because they can't finance it,so wrong. Using my sister as an example in her 200 level in UNEC she had a boyfriend, haa the Op talked about the guy living on #5000 and soaking garri, my sister's boyfriend fits that scenario. It still didn't make my sister to leave him, there are times she's going back to school and she will package beans, rice, garri, yam and palm oil which she will give the guy.Mind u she wasn't sneaking it out of the house my mum was aware of it. Fast forward this 2016 on 29th March she will be getting married to her university boyfriend, The guy was in the same class as her ( ACCOUNTACY). We still don't treat him bad because of his background. The same guy is presently working in Dubai, his relationship with my sister still didn't disturb his studies as portrayed by the Op in her post.
I also know of a guy that's a bookworm, he graduated from UNN in 2010, he still kept a girlfriend and that didn't deter him from been the best graduating student from Electronics department and overall best graduating in UNN that year. There are still people who are not in relationship that are not passing well in school,someone also said guys should focus on their books since is what they came for. Whether you choose to have a girlfriend or not, it doesn't justify the grades u will graduate with.
