I no of many highly earning working class people that failed to acquire house, car etc. It all borders on how you can plan and be supported by God, or what if you have all these cars and houses before marriage, and it vanquish after marriage, will you divorce her or kill the children that were born,so all that mentioned by op is not the essence of marriage, they are all necessaries that must be acquired Gradually and eventually and may not be instantly as some women wanted it, it's not INDOMIE noodles that gets cooked instantly

When the child grows older school fees will set in. And other bad debts will be incured .

Don't get me wrong, I ain't saying he will never make it but in the mean time, why bring a child to the world to suffer? Even if it's for 6 years before you make it? Why take a woman from her father's comfy house to hardship in the name of marriage?

I advice ladies never to get married no matter how cool a guy is unless he is proven to be able to cater for your needs and that of your children financially in all ramifications both expenses and sundry expenses.

If i say you are not making sense i guess i will be fooling myself but then i always ask;"Does it make any logical sense to date a man who can not buy a car or lives in a face me i face you and scrws you front and back with reckless abandon,you cook for him,sleep over at his place and infact does virtually what a wife does yet can't marry him in that position and hope for the better while you also strife for financial independence?

Or you want the husband to take care of everything from school fees to the pants u wear and the only thing you bring to the table is waist trainers,gossips,silly thread and hole between your legs. You realize you cannot compare a government worker in Nigeria with an Entrepreneur in Europe! Can you compare? My currency alone is bigger than yours. Perhaps you don't know who you quoting. Again, get a life.

Speaking of a house, yes i do have a house. Our government is sooooo good that every working class person is entitled to housing. I bet your government couldn't do that for you thats why you all run down here.

I am one those who believe no man should venture into marriage without a stable income to atleast feed 2 extra mouth but then life has uncertainties,even the super rich can crumble. This post is meaningless, I do not blame the OP after all she is abroad and doesn't understand the struggle here, but I blame the Nigerian breed girls who know how real the struggle is.

Firstly, I agree with the points that a car and a house are needed for a family at least to make everyone comfortable.

But such is not a compulsory assets that a lady should look at before getting married, what if God forbids he loses everything what do you do. Dump his sorry ass, divorce him, become a prostitute?

The most important thing I believe a lady should look at is does he love me?
Do I love him?
Is he industrious and hard working?
Does he make me happy?

Does are much more important than Cars or houses. All fingers are not equal, not everyone would make it at the same time.

If you aren’t happy on the inside, neither wealth nor poverty will make you happy. Pray to God always to make your wife and family a happy one irrespective of the situations you find yourself. There are Rich but broken homes, there are rich and happy homes vice versa.
