Thanks brother, I went through your profile and I can see you are an atheist, Well I‘ve been looking for how to become an atheist since and want to know more about their philosophy, I will like to know more on books to read, how to go about it an all that because religion is a disaster in Nigeria and the world at large especially Abrahamic Religions (Islam, Christianity and Jews). Atheism is a state of mind, not a badge the people wear.

There are far more Christians , men and women, suspicious of their religious beliefs, who just need someone to give them a gentle nudge to free them from the mental slavery of religion.

Once a woman falls in love, it's very very easy, if deemed necessary, for her to also fall out of religious ritual and religion entirely.
Trust me. I seen it many different times.

The reason that women flock sheepishly to religion is their biological or should I say, chronic psychological need for social validation. It is a need as greater or even greater than food.

However, if the OP is looking for a lady wearing a badge of atheism in Nigeria, it would be tough search.

Just find an intelligent lady, socially validate her , and then Viola!, you become her Lord and Savior, her God.

Boss, I'm an avid follower of your threads in the religion section. I enjoyed all of it. Now to the topic, finding an atheist lady is like finding a needle in a haystack. Why not mingle with a christian or liberal christian lady? I'm a free thinker, but my babe is a christian. She knows I'm a free thinker, and she has a very high level of tolerance. Sometimes, she invites me to her church sometimes, and I'm happy to go with her. Not because I want to go, but it's part of what we do for love. Infact, I don't mind going to church with my wife once in a while. My children can be Christians if they want to, and when they grow up to think for themselves, they'll see the light.

Boss, it ain't easy coming across an atheist lady. Infact, it's on Nl here that I've seen female atheist.

You would be surprised how many ladies are freethinkers, rare, but they are there. Guess what many of them are pretty and smarter than the average 9ja babes.

Honestly I don't care, me i'm just carefree. I even mess with people sef. Like whenever I tell them i'm an Atheist, they gave me this "what? you're doomed" look and I just say "Yes, I mean the devil is currently using me and it's been fun all the way. My pastor uncle understands me and won't even judge me or force religion on me, but "so called" church goers won't let me be, they call me names and bully me on social media but I've grown to develop thick skin just like my friend Imoh David. I mean whats the use of explaining certain things to people who tell me "i'm a lost soul"

And I don't believe in marriage either, why should we sign a piece of paper or wear a stupid jewellery to prove our love for each other? Let's just live together, have kids and give my kids legal protection.
