You have just saved yourself a lot of heartache down the road.

Because, when a copule have differing beliefs, especially as regards religion, that can be a source of constant strife in your relationship.

Am sure you would at one point want to marry her? Would you like it if she insisted on teaching your children her religion? Would you tlerate your child worrying verbally about her father's soul going down to eternal damnation?

Sometimes, it is better not to be unequally yoked. Yes, I know of copules who differ in the beleif department, but.....the kind of compromises they make for the sake of their relationship....you might not be strong enough to make them. And for that matter...neither would your intended.

(And don't pretend to be religious to get her. Because women don't like being decieved.....)

Atheism is interesting brcause it needs other objects to survive as a counterpoint. Without religion there would be no aetheism. Maybe if it were named " secular humanism" that might work. But wait. That sounds like a religion

Seems atheism is a belief system and religion with books, faith and congregation. The only non religion sect are pagans who have no moral boundaries. The existence of moral boundaries implying that there is good and evil is in itself a religion.

I think you should just be tolerant and let religious people do their thing, while you do yours. You do have things to do outside of religion dont you?

Oh and the girl. She is not for you. Love includes wanting the object of your love to be happy. Clearly she isnt happy with you. Move on and be thankful for the moment ( of course i mean thankful to providence..er no...rather thankful to her. I think the case is that many theists believe in God because they are afraid of going to a mythical hell, not that they are convinced of the existence of a god. They secretly wish they had the freedom and peace and security of atheists but the fear of hell is what is keeping them in the god delusion.

Accept it now that you are still alive or die regreting that you believed in a god and by that, you caused harm to other people who are of a different sexual orientation, a different religion and non religion, couples who loved each other and had sex even though they are not married, etc.

The fact that a woman quickly understood you are an atheist shows some atom of foolishness in you, with due respect sir. I will advice you to change your atitude first and stop screeming ' I dont believe in God ' It takes time to know someones lifestyle who is wise but it takes just a question to know a foolish man. Be free thinker, instead of an atheist, rmber some things are yet to be known. If you a science student, you will understand what I am mean. That you quickly concluded in this short time you stayed on earth that there is no God, means you can also quickly conclude that there is no object that could fly fast than a jet.

You are not wrong to be an atheist especially due to the limited and usual misconception of what God is. I think if you truly love this lady and really want her in your life, I can help you proof the existence of an aspect of you which you cant see. That, which is nameless perfection, which the world coin the word 'God' to represent. When you establish the true nature of what God is, all other things shall be added unto you, including that beautiful love of your life.
