Did you by any chance use an agent in filling the form? did you "package" your application to improve chances?
Now for this current application if you are sure about not misrepresenting in the last application, use a hotel and come enjoy your vacation without being tied nor judged on another persons activities here.

Hello Guys,

Good job here guys. I am thinking of going to the U.S.A in the fourth quarter of the year to relax, I have been to one African country before and I would be working as a contract staff with a F-500 company in the UK during the summer would be making about 7k pounds. I do not intend to overstay in the US plus I have a sister who is an American Citizen, what category of visa do you think I should apply for?
Tourist-want to relax after long summer job,
general visitor-want to go visit my sister.

Plus I am a recent UNI graduate too.

Which Do you think is ideal and can I apply from the UK or I should come back to Naija after my summer in the UK to come and apply?

Please help me guys.

Greetings to all the gurus in the house. My appointment was 9:30 today in Lagos and here's my transcript.

After the VO just bounce the guy in front of me, I waited for her to call me before rushing to her window. Then she asked me to come.

VO: your passports
ME: I gave her
VO: why are you going to the US?
ME: Told her
VO: where are you going in the US?
ME: Told her
VO: what do you do?
ME: I am a bla bla bla owner
VO: how many bla bla bla do you have in your bla bla bla?
ME: told her
VO: Is it a family business or your personal business because you seem very young to own such a business.
ME: gave her reasons why it's not such a "big business" and told her I have done other business in the past.
VO: tell me about your former business.
ME: told her
VO: You will pick your passport on so n so day.

I have read other people's transcript here and believe it when they tell you after the VO approved their visa they don't hear the remaining stuffs they say....me no even know weda Na me she still dey talk to. The white paper just be like say na money printing machine dem give me.

It is impossible not to feel some kind of tension because seeing the amount of rejection will definitely get to your head and make you begin to doubt even if you know weytin you dey do.

Lady G, I troway salute!!!!

Congrats bro but please endeavor to work on the bla bla bla... I know this is a public forum but you gave us no info with your transcript.

Good evening everyone, pls i want to apply for United nation Conference. I am paying 1200 dollars for the conference, i was told UN will send a copy of my details to the embassy. My question is, whats the guarantee that i will get the visa? I was told i will still go for an interview at the Embassy. N.B i have never travelled before also i run a private business
I thought UN conferences invitation should be through the resident director in the applicant country and also I'm very sure almost all UN conference are strictly by invitation well you have google.. you should mail UN to confirm the authenticity of the conference because to me this is a simple and neat scam.

Yes, for the time I would be spending there this summer ! The category of Visa my employer got for me permits me to work temporarily. Which may eventually be renewed for a longer one.

please do not try giving any false information or it would lead to some years ban. you already made it clear on your previous application that you have someone who is a US citizen(Mum) don't you know that all information in your previous application is still in their Data base? we do not encourage misrepresentation of Material here or falsehood! I will advice you to try and get more solid ties first to be a prove that you won't abscond(if is not even your intention) you might get it.

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 7:16pm On May 17, 2017
Scenario 1:
First interview - going to the US for educational purposes, rejected
3 months later
Second interview - going for vacation

Scenario 2:
First interview - going for vacation, rejected
3 months later
Second interview - going to the US for educational purposes

Scenario 3:
First interview - Applied for an immigration visa, rejected
Months/Years later
Second interview - going for a non-immigration visa

Scenario 4:
First interview - Applied for a tourist visa, rejected
3 months later
Second interview - going for a medical visa for childbirth

Scenario 5:
First interview - Applied for a medical visa, for childbirth, rejected
Months/Years later
Second interview - Applied for a tourist visa

These are some of the common scenarios, I have seen so far. Scenario 3 seems to be the hardest in terms of overcoming immigrant intent. Scenario 5 seems to be more reasonable, the woman has already given birth and would now like to go for a vacation in the US. Scenarios 1,2 and 4 would probably raise red flags every time. It is best to stick to one purpose, unless it legit. changes, in my opinion. Hope it helps.

Tell the VO you are going to California and when you get to the US, you can tour the whole of America.
