That's abit harsh, seems you've hard a terrible experience.
The fact though is that men need money with that they can almost always get any lady they want, women need to be fine(presentable and sexy) with that they can almost always get any man they want.

Ofcourse there are always exceptions to this, but most often you fine rich men marry beautiful wives and pretty ladies get the rich guys.
