deedeedee1:Original Igbo Man. Have. You botherd to do a study on East Timor? If you can add Eritrea, Comoros, south Sudan to it. Compare them to Pakistan. The world has changed. Countries. Don just allow a part of them go and say bye bye... you must have an umbilical cord tied permanently to the parent country. it's the new world order. By the time Spain is done fixing it's plans, Catalunia can be created. The same thing as Taiwan. You just see one fake example. You just got impressed. What is impressive about a guy not following development in international politics and diplomacy? 12 Likes |

I think Many Igbos understand the inherent danger that IPOB and ultimate secession poses to them and their livelihoods, but are banking on the fact that it wouldn't become reality. They are therefore using the whole IPOB and biafra thing as a leverage to remain relevant within the Nigerian scape. Many of the younger ones among them are even using it to have fun and chest beat thinking its all "interesting" and stuff that they locked down onitsha head bridge. Until reality dawns and they start running helter skelter and calling for some kind of agreement with Nigeria... which by then would very likely be too late. 21 Likes 3 Shares |

azimibraun: True!! South Sudan was so eager to be free, that it did not think critically of what would happen to its people and its' revenue from oil, which was still firmly dependent on its parent country. They made the mistake of leaving their infrastructure to chance. I hope the pro-Biafra agitators would learn from the experience of South Sudan. 6 Likes |

The U.K leaving the E.U is purely economic & has nothing to do with cessation or independence what the u.k is doing is leaving the E.U economic bloc its not a physical move, its idealistic! They are reverting back to pre E.U era of Economics & politics in the U.K it has nothing with driving away U.K citizens in Europe its a different case with the so called biafra motive. If biafra will leave it will be entirely different from this. kingzizzy: 3 Likes |

Misterdhee1:Again, repeating it for the 4th time today, no one seems willing to read , understand and respond to an issue in the proper context without throwing in a hypothetical situation as a rebuttal. Nome of all of you guys have made any points to refute the facts I presented. Is there an ECOWAS treaty or not ? Is Nigeria not a signatory to it or not? The answers to the above vindicates me. If Nigeria decides to be an ECOWAS renegade, that's another topic altogether. However, you're all hung up on the your envisaged and hypothetical projection that Nigeria would or should RENEGE on its ECOWAS treaty obligations, which itself is a completely different topic by itself. This is the single simple point that you and others miss? |

plaetton: Guy, you are still missing the point. Please go back and get a copy of the ECOWAS Protocol on Free Movement of Persons and read it thoroughly. Pay special attention to Article 4, which still gives member states the right to refuse entry to any citizen of another state, based on its' internal laws. 4 Likes |

The United Nations will never support further balkanization of African states in Africa! Period, They will rather support that Nigeria ratifies her constitution & strengthens her institutions, through monitoring of our democratic processes & technical support to achieve high levels of equity & justice, if Nigeria were to break up it was supposed to be 10years ago. But not today. Billyonaire: 1 Like |

laudate:Salva Kiir Mayardit the current President of South Sudan was just like Nnamdi Kanu. He decieved the country into a rushed independence. What did he do afterwards? He became the country's President, started buying the best Vehicles money could buy, he even ensured his picture was put on their currency. Today south sudanese are in the worst state of living the never thought of. Life was better for them in the main Sudan. One Man greed has led to the death of several thousand and counting. Kanu could just be a devil sent to come and destroy these innocent folks. 8 Likes |

azimibraun:But the country was created by the British. Why cant you allow the igbos go? What exactly are you benefiting from them? Since stopping them 50 years ago, how has nigeria been since then? Does nigeria have good health care system, good roads, good education? What exactly did you benefit in stopping them 50 years ago? Since the igbos feel they can do better by themselves why not allow them go? And baba i am not igbo but i support them to have their country since they have the confidence that they will do better on their own. I really love their confidence and with such confidence, i must say the sky is the limit for them. I believe believe biafra will be a successful country. 3 Likes |

kingzizzy:I appreciate your response. What irks my soul is the fact that we were negotiating with Boko Haram terrorist, yet when Nnamdi Kanu came into Nigeria he was arrested and put into Kuje gulag. Nooo! I know truth when I see one and I know injustice when I see it too. Nobody tried to understand his pain. That's not fair. At all. Listen everybody Our enemies are the politicians, all of them. Not the ordinary igbo Hausa, Yoruba, Tiv, Efik, Ogoja, Ijaw, Igala, Itshekiri etc Death to all our accursed politicians. I have promised myself that should anything start in this country the arms I would bear would not be against anybody but against our politicians, the bullet I will shoot will be against politicians, all of them including the ones from my state. Bunch of criminal reprobates who have wasted this nation. I am not your enemy and you are not mine. Ndo Cheers 2 Likes |
