They mailed me a letter of acceptance but yet to r ecieve the hardcopy and other little documents am just gathering all am saying submitting late June I hope it won't affect the visa issuance based on time ?

Bro nice write up and words of encouragement, I like dat, but one tin u still fail to site is tins are changing, system is chain lining and even @ ur 2014 , I guess u had some factor dat made dem ignore ur course mix match, one of dis factors include strong social & economy ties, strong travel histories etc, so in ur case I strongly believe dat u belong 2 one of dis categories. So each case of success shows a key point and are treated differently, Grace differs too, my advice to applicants is alway view ur profile b4 submit and try to put urself in d shoes of d VO's and always seek second idea or opinion, and pray too..No wat u want and neva gv up ur dreams. destiny can b delayed but can neva b denied.

I didn't have any other factor to make them ignore my "course mix match" according to you. People end up in different career paths not related to their first degree and that is what I wanted to point out to the person. My point was just to emphasize that you can get a study permit if your propose course is not related to your first degree but you can prove it with your current job position. Even Oyibo dey switch career, why cant we? Besides, am a babe my dear

So I applied last week for a visit visa online, got my biometrics done after getting the biometrics letter. I eventually got an update on my account that reads something along this line: "biometrics not needed for your application, you will receive an update, if this is changed". Is this normal?

I can't speak categorically about this cos there are several dependant variables. The program you're applying for and the departmental entry requirements are key. It is also popular knowledge that although not impossible it is difficult to get a masters admission with a second class lower from Canadian universities, I think the same applies to most programs in U of M. You can try University of Ottawa tho, seems like someone on this thread go an admit from them with a 2.2.

I also applied April 26,2017 because that was when my nysc certificate became valid and June 1,2017 got a mail for medicals. I am going for research based masters in Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec with funding. By God's Grace on Monday will be off to Lagos.

I believe God will surprise you soon @adebunmi07, you will be called for medicals soon. I should even recognize your face because will surely see you that day in Lagos. Cheers!!!

Have been a silent reader...but right now I need help....just applied for my visa April 26 2017 and got a mail for my biometric d next day...did my biometric and till now haven't heard anything....got a mail from cic 3days ago that..."there haven't been any update on your acct since you last checked" thanks for your patience" that was d mail I got from cic....been waiting for medical mail....plsss I need urgent reply. ..God bless.

After my NYSC, I've worked with a company as an accountant and currently working with a college as a lecturer (Graduate assistant)

My total pay is close to 180k.
No tuition was paid.
My statement of acct is 2m with good inflow.
I also have a farm and hatchery, registered and document submitted!

I'm married with children.

Pls what is wrong with my application.
I've requested for gcms though.
