Like I did say in that thread, it depends on your relationship "status"- defined or undefined. Why are you in the relationship; for lust, love, friendship/companionship, marriage, etc? Also, what are the agreement/rules?

For instance, we're in love. An naturally as it always tend to lead, we promised to remain true to our love by being faithful to each other. And next on the line as it is common, we're planning marriage. But before I knew it, you woke up one morning and said, "I'm sorry, I can't continue in this relationship anymore", just like that.

The OP gave just one scenario and I was surprised that all our resident intelligent men couldn't figure out the other side of the coin...but that's normal. The men advised such women to count their losses and move on, with emphasis being on how they both enjoyed the sex. Why they feel it's all about the sex is story for another day.

I think both genders are guilty of using the "Use and Dump" mantra.

Most women who claim to being used and dumped are actually good women who probably gave their all in a relationship only to be dumped.

Men who claim to have been dumped are those who sustained a relation with the financial prowess only to be dumped at the end.

For both groups, i say, take heart.

The thing is more often that not, when women complain of being used and dumped, they bring us issues like sex...'he fvcked me in all holes', 'after I gave him my body', 'I let him screw me all night', 'He was always asking for sex and suddenly he dumped me' etc or you hear the innocent ones saying stuff like 'I told him I wanted to remain a virgin till marriage so he dumped me' and all that BS. Basically, it's usually sex related...but it takes two to tango...

For the guys(especially the uneducated ones that have money), they sponsor the girl from B.Sc to Ph.D, shower her with gifts, sometimes send her family abroad only to hear the girl saying she can't marry an uneducated guy or the guy gets broke and she sees a richer guy and hops onto the next train...
