At what age was Adam created?

Was he created a child who needed to be taught to understand his environment or a full grown adult?

The scenario you created doesn't hold water because Adam was created fully with his cognitive abilities intact. God wouldn't have handed over the administration of the entire earth to him if he taught he was a 2yr old child.

Now let me also create a scenario for you.

Do you know about the Feudal System of government, and how it works?

Now let's assume you are under that system of government and you are a Lord. Everything in your domain is yours. All your servants are your properties, The land they work on is yours, their children bear your name, their wives are yours. everything. They work for you, you feed and care for them and their families.

And you have just one biological son, Adam. Just imagine yourself a Lord, what will your son lack in your kingdom? Nothing.

The running of your estates is in his hands to do as he please.
He lives in the same mansion with you.
He has servants tending him every minute. When it comes to food, one delicacy has varieties. In the morning if it's tea he wants, he'll need to pick out what kind of tea he wanted. Green tea? Lipton tea? Chinese tea? Indian tea? Japanese tea? if it's chocolate, the same.

If it's coffee, he'll need to pick out from Gourmet coffee? Decaf? or normal coffee? If he wants bread, which one? Is it brown bread, wheat bread? Corn bread, Casava bread, which one? Everything except one is available to him.

You left 99% to him and kept 1 for yourself and said to him, "Son, everything is yours, but don't touch this particular tree in the garden, for if you eat from it, you'd be hurt", and you left.

Then, a lord of another kingdom corners your son and conversation like this ensued;

lord: See? This is the thing. Your father is power drunk. He likes everyone being under Him, he treats everyone like a child. He has no respect for others. I mean, you are as much a lord over this kingdom just like him, why will he treat you as a child by telling you what to eat and what to leave? Do you feel like a child?, because as I look at you, i see a man.

Your Son: (begins to look at himself) and said, 'i'm a man.

lord Good. Listen my son. Your father knows that once you eat from that tree, you'll be your own man. Wisdom shall be yours to decide things for yourself. You'll know everything. Just imagine Him strolling down here every evening to have a chat with you as if you a child. He knows that you will choose either or not to chat with Him once you have your own power, that's why he lied. He did the same to me.

Your son: (considers being his own man for a while), says, hmmm, I'm just concerned about the dying part.

lord: Okay then, i have to go now since you consider me a liar. even when i have told you i ate from the tree you still doubt me. (He begins to walk away).

Your son: I'm sorry sir, i didn't mean it that way, pls pardon my rudeness.

lord: I understand, i'm only just interested in you being your own man like me, i won't gain anything from this. If i knew early enough, your father won't have kept me his servant as long as he did. A day came when i decided, it ends today, this subjugation stops today, i went straight to the tree ate from it, although he got angry and sent me out of his estate, but that gave me an opportunity of building my own estate, today i'm an estate owner too.

Going by your judgment, God gave you sexual urge, he created a woman and gave her such fantastic body, and she leaves part of it open, but He says, don't lust. biko why?

U ask him, if i should not touch her, then why keep her on earth where i can are her? Don't you know i can see her? if you don't want me to touch her, take her away from the earth, or remove the urge from me. But, you forget you'd still need her to marry and the urge to procreate.

See that's what I can't seem to understand.
The Biblical Christianity that I've been raised in doesn't promote that "die by fire" thing.
Never heard of that concept in my life until I came to NL.
That must be a Nigerian brand of Christianity....
We can never, ever win souls to Christ by being self-righteous & dogmatic all under the guise of being an alleged "warrior for Christ" (meanwhile completely excluding/omitting the Fruit of the Spirit--which is Christ' character) which I see repeatedly in this section of NL. Unfortunately, all I see is a predominate amount of folks who just.....umm...well let me stop and quiet down.
Anyhow, to those who can't see Christ (The Son of God-Christ) in us "followers of Christ"....I apologize. Please don't let that turn you away from attempting to know Who He is and can do in your life.
