Truth is as Africans running churches, we're basically reverting to African cosmology that we're truly and innately comfortable with . But in a way we somehow think is modern and acceptable. Under the umbrella of Christianity.

Christianity has become a one-stop shop of life encompassing spirituality, social life, entertainment, protection, marriage, business & social connections, prosperity, hope etc. Pragmatism is at the heart of it.

Why go to babalawo (marabou) when the church can prophesy & work to destroy your real or perceived enemy metaphysically holding back your economic progress, fatherhood, motherhood, career, etc? Why go clubbing if you can dance azonto to your heart's content in church? Why allow elders in your family be involved in your marital decisions when your pastor can tell you the wife/hubby God as chosen for you?

So with all these various African needs now provided in church, the populations of modern churches have exploded. There is a massive population shift from old Western churches to African churches.

A distant relative once said that she cannot just continue attending churches where they do not "see" and be caught unawares by the enemies.
I foresee more innovations from even smarter MoGs in the future. Soon your ICT, financial services, shopping needs and more will be incorporated into church duties. Do not ask me how they will do it considering they are charities that do not pay taxes. But they will find a way. They already run schools, universities, hospitals, real estate, etc.

There are church-owned microfinance banks, IT centers, shopping centers already.

Op please read the exact Word of Jesús in luke 19 vs 27. U can't regin on this world without the dead of your enemy. These are few cases, pharoh and moses, Saúl and David, isaiah and Kong uzaiah. Etc

We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers of darkness that sit at high places.

Once you understand that, you do not have enemies at the flesh level but then again the enemies lies within. Our enemies are spiritual and not physical. This was why when Jesus turned to peter, he said "Get behind me, Satan". Jesus saw beyond the flesh yet he was a man to know it was not peter speaking to him but satan in the spirit using peter in the flesh.

Now, here is where wisdom is required by whom to which it is given by the Holy spirit; you pray against that evil spirit that leads that flesh to do evil against you in the name of Jesus christ because there is power in that name. But that power is not available to everyone becos not all are truly born of the Holy spirit.

For I tell you, not all who confess to Jesus Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of God. For some are not born of the spirit of God which is the Holy spirit that comes by the word of God in your spirit.

This was why it was said, you can not have two masters, it either you like one or despise the other. You can not serve God and mammon; you must choose one.

For I tell you, if only you had understanding you will not pray against your neighbour in the flesh to die but yet you would see beyond the flesh by the reason of the Holy spirit to fight the right battles. For it is said; my people perish for lack of wisdom.

The enemy is that evil power or negative force that will never make you be what God destined you to be. Theespecially powers are invisible and you can never see it with you naked eyes. The powers are so clever the they do harm without you knowing.

If you want to see such evil force or power. Take your bible and pray with 3 days fasting. Break by 6pm daily and be determined and be focused in your prayers. Ask God to show you the powers that stopped your father. Cos those powers are already wining the battle against you except you pray. They are waiting for you and very soon you will feel it

Those people we regarded as enemies r not real enemies but a certain force(satan) working/pushing them. Casting and binding enemy(satan) is ok by me. But if u pray that those people u regarded as enemies should die negleting d real enemy, satan will still use another person to against u.
