I don't know why many posters here keep referring this as
solemnly Igbo agenda. The organization made it clear that
this is not an Igbo affair, it's a coalition of different ethnicity
in Nigeria and also foreigners.
I think it is good gesture, I call on Federal government, all
the state government to rally to the support of this agenda
toward bring to an end the tribalism and non-indigenious
discrimination in this country.
It will also help to harmonize and detribalize Nigeria make
us a well organized one country.
We hope seeing a name like Emeka Okafor as a Governor of
Oyo State or Kano State vice versa.
we aren't fools, and we won't fall for this trash. the initiative is an ibo agenda. no one else goes about lusting after other people's patrimony except the greedy Ibos. if you Ibos want to be recognised as indigene in other people's land; fine but leave yorubaland out of your greed. you can start within your greedy selves in Iboland. make an ebonyi man from the forest Forest of afikpo the governor of anambra state

Once we see percentages flying around, we already know whose agenda it is. No need to check any names. And trust me, all that non-indigenes talk is bunkum. No Hausa, Fulani, Ijaw or Edo man is interested in governing outside his state.

See someone that wants to see an Emeka Offor govern Oyo state grin cheesy

Leave them. No be their fault. Na oversophistcation of Yoruba people I blame. They are already telling us that non-indigenes are more than Yorubas in the SW. Without a doubt, the igbos are the ones promoting such narrative. #Fact. Coz most other ethnicities aren't as uncouth and stvpid as them. Their cup go soon full though. There are more than one way to skin a cat.

The way Igbos are trooping to Ogun these days,I tire. I live in Abeokuta and I see things myself. They are just buying lands everywhere now but in Ogun, we are more smarter than them. Ogun govt don't give CofO to non indigenes,so how they will now claim ownership of our land must be a drama.

Our people need to wake up; for real. can you imagine the thieves demanding that yoruba language should not be used at CDA meetings in ogun state.

These greedy thieves aren't through with Lagos yet, they have moved to ogun. with those kind of silly demands, they might start saying the whole of yorubaland is no man's land

The igbo agenda for the SW is dead on arrival.

Our states shall not be the testing ground for the so called unity of Nigeria.

Igbos should fly the indigeneship kite in the North.

we should stop forming mr nice guy because we want our land to be cosmopolitan. This is Africa, it's a jungle down here.

if it were other ethnic nationality, we may still consider them but with the Ibos it is a capital NO.

These are the thieves that have never hidden their hatred and disdain for our people and our land. They enjoy the milk and honey flowing in yorubaland, they want to partake out of the goodies in yorubaland yet deep down they do not wish yorubaland well

just imagine if this thread had been about how fulani militia men sacked a community in ogun

While it might have started out without a so called Igbo agenda, but owing to their sheer numbers Igbos are bound to dominate that organization and use its structure to further their agenda. That might be the reason why the natives are so apprehensive

That was how they started with Lagos. I see the same pattern here. They already said in their press release that 'non-indigenes are more than indigenes in Ogun state'. I find that statement very provocative. What population census did they conduct or consult to arrive at that conclusion? This is just a prelude to the sort of crap they've become known for in Lasgidi. They will start circulating this sort of rubbish amongst themselves and gradually before you know it, it will gain traction, they will solely claim credit for 'developing' the state, and Ogun don become they latest 'nomansland' be dat. They can already see that the state is destined for greatness and have started appropriating it's success.

When it comes to diplomacy, ibos will always score an F-9.

Gone are the days where people buy land and even encroach other people's properties for their gain in Ogun state. It is now an old story. The CFO is made compulsory for the indigene of the state first before other indigenes of SW of which the favour still tingle to them as well due to what was unfolded of recent as regards landed properties in the state.

It's not about boasting but I couldn't but totally agree with you on the bolded. Visited kuto and sapon market some weeks back as I almost felt am in Onitsha market (not about the dirty aspect which ofcourse most markets in Abeokuta are clean but the language..., na so so Igbo language naim I dey hear) The massive emigration of SE indigenes to SW most especially Lagos, Ogun and Oyo is becoming alarming.

No. It's on the way up so they want to rush in and benefit from all the hard work by Yorubas.

It's annoying. They're like that school kid that didn't do any work in the group project, joined at the last minute, and has the biggest mouth.

Lol just like the Coward Captain in pirate of the Caribbean Island who didn't get involve during the struggle but celebrated with the gallant soldiers after winning the war.

Perhaps when AB InBev Brewery, Mainone Cable data centre, Ford plant and other industries start operation hence massive employment and economic growth for the state, they would claim this development right?

Heard they said they are responsible for the development of 10 fly overs construction in Abeokuta. grin

Na their way. When BAT was putting down structures and machinery in place to increase Lagos IGR, they were deaf and dumb. Only to later start claiming credit when his efforts started yielding fruits. Now they have started claiming credit for Amosun's ingenuity in dramatically increasing the IGR of the state.

The million dollar question no one is asking is, why is it that it is only in other people's land their supposed high IGR impact is being felt? Abi dem swear for their states not to also record high IGR from their traders? Or all their state governors are just too incompetent? Na their way.

Again, the Non indigenes are never recognized despite the fact that they accounts for 40% and 60- 70% of the state's IGR when it comes to commerce. Yet these economic growers are not accorded the required recognition in form of reduction in number of taxes they are made to cough out.

Lwtmb grin grin These land grabbing leeches wont kill us. Igbo now contribute 60% to Ogun IGR grin Stupid idiots that contribute NOTHING to government purse ranting about contributing the most. This is starting to look like a curse on them.
