As a kid, there was this gurl I liked so much that I used to spend most of my day at her neighborhood, peeping at her house, just to catch a glimpse. One day she was alone in front of her house,  so I summoned courage to make a move. I still remember our conservation which went as follows:

Me: Good afternoon
Gurl: huh?
Me: sorry, you look like my, (pause)  my mother.
Gurl: What?
Me: you resemble my mother and I love you.
Gurl: you love me?
Me: (lost speech, heart thumping, losing breath) nodded
Me: pls,do u love me?
Gurl: Silence
Me: I bought this (chin-chin & pan cake) for you.
Gurl: (smiles) thanks
Me: so, do you love me?
Gurls dad: Hey, who is that? What r u doing here? Bingo, Bingo get him

Mehn, na so I do ben johnson oo.  I was so embarrassed, I never had the stomach to talk to her again, and I started to dodge her and her friends.  And the yeye gurl, after chopping my chin-chin and pan cake, she and her friends go see me com begin laugh. grin grin

Till today I still wonder how I escaped cardiac arrest or stroke the first time I attempt to toast Funke. I was in pry 6 then. All I remember is that I was standing in front of her and I noticed all of a sudden that she is taller than me yet I knew I was older. My jaw was stuck, my eyes were practically popping out of their sockets. My pores began to ooze oil mixed with sweat. Oh God!I forgot my lines. I must must have looked adorably lost to her that day because at least she managed a smile
