Good morning house. Pls I want to know which one year diploma course or any other course one can take to get the "two or more certificates" my sister wants to probably do one.

She can do a Diploma in Pepper & Crayfish sales. I believe most Polys offer the course. She'll get a Dip. P&C title atached to her name.

Hello good people,

I have my ECA (Just got my report today) and IELTS result. While creating my profile, I discovered that there is a section for spouse education. Spouse hasn’t completed her BSC as she currently In her final level.

I want to know if I choose the option “Not completed” would impact our application negatively. Or should I take off her education completely ?

Any suggestions would help. Thank you.

What do you mean by "negatively" in this context? If you meant rendering your profile ineligible, then the answer is NO.
How do you intend to take off her education?

Masters degree is masters degree and not second degree. Except there is more to the question than I can interpret

i know my profile won't be ineligible because my CRS score is 463. I was wondering however, if the officials could delay or reject my application after post ITA based on the fact that my spouse study "is ongoing".

Logically, if we are given the PR status, she will still have to complete her studies (by October 2018) before leaving for canada. IRCC might think this way also. Hence delaying or even rejecting my application.

I just need clarification sis/bro.

Thank you.

It does not matter. Someone had a very similar issue a week or two ago. Like I said, people continue their education elsewhere so they cannot use that as a basis for denial or delay. Be silent about it and if they send ADR on it, do LOE that she will finish in October, that's like 6months away sef, after ITA, you still have 90days to submit, by then Madam don almost finish joo.

Carry go, nothing do you.

My exact thoughts. Moreso, since she is allowed to land after you, she might have to stay back to finish her studies and join you at a later date if you are in a hurry to leave like some of us. A win-win for you.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in being optimistic. If you have the opportunity to increase your CRS scores, DO IT! I have been in the pool since December but ITA has been stylishly evasive. Another bummer again when there were no draws on Wednesday. Yesterday, I registered my spouse to retake Ielts with IDP. If he gets a 7 in all modules, my scores jump up 8points and puts me at 449. At least then I know we have done everything possible. May God bless all our hustle. It will end in praise!

Contact WES via (contact us page) and provide them a copy of your passport so they can correct your eca date of birth. Seems your school transcript degree has a different DOB from your passport?

I got some rumours that one can get a work permit directly from Nigeria.

There are agency that can help one secure work permit.

Any success story?

Hello Great People, My child as an American and a Nigerian passport, which is best suited for submission for PPR?

You can send both. They will not affix the visa label to either but the child will be issued COPR.

vickyehi:
I have been following this thread for a while now and so far i haven't seen any refusals for express entry.
Please elders in the house that have been following the thread before part 3 have there been any case of refusal in previous parts?

A collection of rejection cases on Nairaland

Though we don't get many of this (for good reason!), there have been a few cases of rejection here on nairaland. I managed to collect a few. If you are aware of more cases, point them my way and I'll include them here.

At least one person was rejected because CIC erroneously ignored his POF details. The major funds were in his domiciliary account which CIC did not pay attention to. This made them issue him a rejection. He wrote them an email and this was eventually corrected. They issued him PPR shortly after.
Suggestion: Ensure to put together a cover page listing your POF details or breakdown, if you are using more than one sources for POF.

Another person was rejected because he/she "murked up the PCC." The UK Police Report was outdated. "The police report I sent for my time in the UK was dated before I stopped living there and as such my application was thrown out."
Suggestion: Get your POF right.

Someone shared a story of two guys whose applications were rejected for POF-related reasons. Even though these guys met the POF requirement, their lump sum deposits were perhaps frowned at. Note that there is no proof to this story; someone merely shared it.
Suggestion: Perhaps avoid lump sums

Someone also related the story of a couple rejected for FBI PCC even though LOEs were attached. Further investigation revealed LOEs were attached in additional documents placeholder and not under PCC placeholder.

A Nairalander was once rejected because CIC did not see the valid biodata page. Both the expired and valid biodata pages were uploaded. The valid one was probably not spotted by the case officer and this led to outright rejection.
Suggestion: Upload only valid biodata page.

Another person threatened with rejection for POF-related issues. POF incomplete

Someone relates story of a rejection due to wrongly stated family composition. Person "added a child and also the post ITA marriage certificate. the refusal was because from the date of the certificate, the only dependent should have been the spouse, meaning she lied pre ITA about her dependents"

At least one person was rejected for NOC mismatch. "The NOC I based my application on did not have a good match with the employment letter I submitted hence the refusal."

Another was initially refused based on "insufficient funds".
