Things bring either positive or negative outcomes. The mother is lucky that her decision paid off well. It is not a reason to preach. There are people who didn't listen to their husbands and got scammed. My ex didn't listen to me and lost a lot of money to the MMM scheme. If she had succeeded, she probably would be tearing into me for not listening to her.

You guys should stop criticising what you don't understand. In 1987, they were begging my Dad to buy hectares of land in the present day Lekki phase 1 at 20k. Those hectares of land is running into billions now. A 1000 square metres plot of land in Lekki 1 averages 150million to 180 million. What if she is referring to such land.

Please stop saying what you don't know. Lekki phase 1 was allocated at 7,000 in the mid to late 80s. Uptill 2001/2 land on Admiralty Road was average of 10m and inside was 4-7million depending on the proximity to Admiralty road. My parents invested in the late 80s. So please don't just write off because you don't know.
