Oga CP first and foremost thanks for recommending UNIONDAC
It's really looking PROMISING each new day. cool
Probably it's another Cileasing in the making....

Please what is the FAIR VALUE?? So we can fasten our SEATBEAT and ENJOY the JOLLY RIDE.

Once again thank you. wink

u re welcome brother, good to know you are among those riding on Union diagnosistic. atleast opinion share not wasted grin grin

i can see some pple equating union diag. move.. with that of japaul move.. in my opinion both are different, union diag. moved base on the fundamental change, japaul moved on fake milost news. check their report prior to each move. union diagn. may not reverse the way japul did if the fundamental continue improving the way it does for the last few years.

for the fair price, for company like this i like to do my analysis base on numbers released so far for particular period, no forcast. based on latest Q2 only i have fair price of 52kobo. if they maintain same trend through out 2nd half of the year then we are looking at 1.04k. if performance better than this Q2 at year end then high price above 1.04 likely vice versa.

not saying/sure that price will move to 52k straight away o but that is my cp fairprice for Q2 only.

grin grin grin

If that's the case then I MUST WAIT TO SELL my UNIONDAC above N1:00.

It happened both in Dangote flour and Cileasing of which I'm both a HUGE beneficiary.....

Once again thanks.

There Q2 2018 PAT compared to Q2 2017 actually recorded a decrease by more than 60%, that PAT is because of the income from divestment from their Ghana operations. Result not good.
They only recorded positive increase in turnover compared to 2017 Q2. I sold off last week @N24:40. Am fully out of the market. The market is presently scary.

Please how do you sell it yourself?

Open an account with a stockbroking firm like Morgan Capital (it is free to open such an account with your valid ID, utility bill. They have materials to train you on how to use their platform. Using it is as easy as ABC.

You can buy/sell yourself and monitor things yourself.

When you use this platform, they just charge you a little brokerage commission on every buy/sell you make and then also deduct the SEC, CSCS and stamp duty charge. On a transaction of 12,000, the total commission should be about 30 naira. Which is very fair.

You will do well if you can study trends, and study company fundamentals as well as understand the peculiarities of the Nigerian market.

Some might say its easier said than done. But those that have made it on the stock market do not have two heads.

Suspended' Conoil Posts 22% Growth in Profit in Q1 2018
https://www.businesspost.ng/2018/08/07/suspended-conoil-posts-22-growth-in-profit-in-q1-2018/

In the period under review, Conoil’s shareholders’ fund grew by 1.2 percent to N18.1 billion from N17.9 billion, while the earnings per share (EPS) increased by 21.8 percent to 30 kobo from 25 kobo.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Chibuking81(m): 7:46am On Aug 07, 2018
For late releasing of q1 Conoil result, they are afraid of bear, despite their growth, going by their current price, they has poor result, and their suppose fair price should be #4/ #5

Q1 EPS of 30 kobo, meaning that their final year EPS should be around 120 kobo.

NSE should lift their ban, let them face their punishment. They are at positive side with this suspension, because their price will be stand still as along as this suspension last.

They planned it.

How is the fundamentals of this company different from that of other companies that are suffering bears? The P/E is already more than 3. Almighty Zenith and UBA are trading at P/Es of about 4.
Everyone in this stock should realise they are trading a mostly illiquid stock.

MSCI- NIGERIA MOVEMENT FOR 6 AUG 2018/GENERAL COMMENT

MSCI-Nigeria opened the week with a floodgate of selling, the fund disposed an average of 2% of the asterixed holdings using the previous trading day as a base. At this junction, I have no option but to say a temporary bye-bye to further purchase of stock, till the index meet me around the 35,000 zone.

Personally, I am still staying on the sideline, watching like an eagle as to which stock to sell.

Using the fund’s portfolio as a guide, “green” mean buying while “red” is selling.

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source.

N:B

Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who is doubting the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.

RE: MSCI NOT UPDATING THEIR WEBSITE TO SHOW LATEST MOVEMENT IN PORTFOLIO?

We should know that MSCI- Nigeria is operated by a reputable organisation. Whatever data they have on their website can be relied upon.

They are mandated to publish their holdings/movement of their portfolio, first for the benefit of their investors (most of whom are other funds/Institutions) and then for the general public. They cannot play games with the update of their data, for which many other websites like morning star are equally interested. The only exception is the fact that they can delay the reporting technically in some instances where that are making some strategic buying/selling which they do not want to disclose immediately for strategic reasons, but they do it within the ambit of the law (for this investors are not worried as the information still get updated as soon as possible), for example assume they do a cross deal just after the exchange closed, this can only be displayed the following day??

Again, on weekends, Friday's transactions will not be updated until early Sunday morning. Equally if you are picking up the information from Morning star or other websites, due to time differences around the globe for those website, what we have already seen this morning, will be updated about 2pm or the time that the American stock exchange opens.

Therefore, I have no fear in what I pick up from MSCI website, the information is to totally reliable and looking at the caliber of Investors (Institutions worldwide), using the data there is no need for any doubt. If the date is wrong, I am sure Vanguard, Morning Star, ETFB, Bloomberg etc would pick up on this.

So in conclusion depending on where you get your information from and how that website updates their date, it is possible you can get the information quite late in some instances. But for whatever, I comment on, the date is the current on as displayed on MSCI-Nigeria fund website directly (you are free to check this yourself)-morning star website is still showing Friday's movement, but later today or tomorrow morning you will see the movement I indicated now displayed- http://portfolios.morningstar.com/fund/holdings?t=NGE&region=usa&culture=en-US.

Thanks.
