JAMES quickly turn off the shower, grab his towel and cleaned his face dry, he exhales as he clean the rest of his body, he tied the towel round bis waist and quickly step out of the bathroom..... He placed his hands on his waist when he look at the scattered bed.....
He quickly pick his cream,and applied it on his face.. Just then the door bell sounded...
He wonder who was knocking, he wasn't expecting anyone.... He tied the towel round his waist and headed for the parlor....
"Who is it? He ask but no reply came....
With curiosity, the slide down the door knob....
Shock swept through hum when he saw the person standing there...
"Hi"Rita said waving her right hand at him...
"Hi... "He replied shyly.....
"Sorry.... "He said shabbily when he noticed her eyes were groping down from his bare chest to the towel round his waist...
"Am.. Just coming out from the bathroom..... "He added shyly..
She nodded, trying to take her eyes off his bare hard chest and body.....
"Do you want to come in...?
"Yeah, sure"She said...
He exhales shapily as he pace the way for her... When she was un.. He hold the towel griply to stop from falling.. Not even by mistake....
"Make yourself comfortable, let me change into something.... "
"Yeah... Sure"She replied....
She watch as he dash into his room....
She scan her eyes around then she sat on the chair facing her dropping what she is carrying on the table...

Azuk took a deep breathe as anger churned within him..... "Actually it's non of that, this card is for you....for all of you here.... "He said stretching the card forward... Chief Buzo who was close to him collected it...

"Is an invitation to the party at the mansion this evening... "Azuk replied..
"Just because you are bestow with the work of the contractor doesn't mean you can throw a party without the owner's concept.... Its very immature you know, it will be so early to start showing your incapability to do the work... "Carlos said
Azuk scoffs"Actually chief, this party is in his honour... Lets call it a welcome party... "
"Is he arriving today? Chief Ayu interjects...
Azuk huffs"Yes,and he will like every man with the money to be there, i mean the real rulers of this kingdom. "

They didn't reply, they just stare at him..... He exhales shapily wondering what next to say.....
"Why are you here, let me guess, the prince has no time for you today because his sister has been kidnapped.... "Levi snapped
"Actually, i need your help... "Francis said shabbily....

FRANCIS SWALLOWED HARD, he suck his teeth, everyone in their choose will probably think he is stupid to come up with such a crazy idea.. But he is serious, he needs to get her out of there.. Vuga isn't doing anything... Her father isn't moved to give up the goldmine, Gary isn't doing anything without his father's approval.. So everything beats down to him.... The secret admirer...
"So how do you think we can possibly help you....? Zed ask
"I don't know my way there, but i know one of you do... "Francis replied shabbily hoping and praying they help him....
"Do you even hear yourself out... "Levi cut in.... "You will be going on a suicide mission.... You are just going to jump into your own grave..."

THE WINDS WHISTLE outside ,the cold breeze prick her arms, her skin.... The leaves gushing and brushing against each other.... She watch as some of them fell to the floor, she imagined and compared live to be like that, only the strong are capable of staying alive... The rest fall down like the fallen leaves....
Her thoughts startled her, she quickly walk away from the window and her gaze fell on Katherine gown,the exact same gown she has said she will wear on the blood festival.... She pick the gown up and tighten her grip on it, tears fell from her eyes as she imagined the worse thoughts ever....
Slowly she sweep down to the ground laying her back against the bed.... She warned her not to go.. But she didnt listen... It was as if she knew something bad was going to happen..... And it did happen....
She sniff as tears roll down her..she held the gown to herself....
She quiver in her spines when a knock sounded on the door... She quickly put the gown where it was.. Wipe off the tear from her face, her eyes......
She walk to the door, she hesitated a bit, wondering who it is... Then she opened the door...
"Hey...... "She muttered when she saw Francis...
"Have you been crying again?Francis ask as he saw the wet mark left by her tear....

Odumodu chulkled and drank the rest of his drink....

"Nice party"Jacob muttered as he watched from outside ....he check his time in his watch... He sigh then walk into the house... He grope his eyes around waiting to see if he could his father anywhere ....he exhales when he saw him.....
He lick his lip when he saw a waitress.. "Can i...? He said taking a glass of cocktail from the tray she was holding..... "Where are you from pretty.....?
He ask with a smile jiggling the cocktail....
The waitress smile back.... "From the city.... "
"From the city.....mwah.... Has anyone ever told you,you look extremely gorgeous..... "
She chulkled... "Thank you.. "
"I can bet no gentleman has been able to resist your charm, your beauty is extraordinary.... Your scent lures with it.... "

James exhales shapily as he scan his eyes around to find his uncle, when his uncle ask him to come to the party, he thought it was going to be something small... Something for only the rich people of the town... He made up his mind, if he doesn't find his uncle anytime soon, he will be leaving.....
"Helloo"
He quivered in his spines as the soft tender ferminine voice sounded in his ears, he quickly turn around... Shock engulf him as he stare at her.....
"Oh my God.... Rita... "
"Ya... "Rita replied with a grin..
He couldn't take his eyes off her, the blue she was wearing added colour to her beauty, she was daln beautiful today.... So alluring... Till now he hasn't noticed how beautiful she is.. She was heaven sent.... A gorgeous angel... "What are you doing here....? He ask shapily when he ran out of words to say
"I should ask the same of you, what are you doing here?
"My uncle invited me..... "
"Oh, this must be a setup, he invited me too... "Rita said jokingly
James laugh... "If it is a setup, it wouldn't be at someone's party..... "
They both laugh.....James wonder if the sensation burning inside him was real, if the feelings he was having for her are genuine.. A part of him was happy, she was there, here with him..... "You look amazing.... "
"You don't look bad either.. "
"You have no idea how good i am in bad taste.. "James replied and they both laugh

"Ferico Carter is taking too much time to come.... "Chief Azuka said
"Am getting impatient myself.... "Carlos replied....

The rest of them look at the direction he was looking at....
"It seems he invited the queen too"Chief Buzo said....
Carlos grunts then he headed towards her direction....

Claude furrowed her brows when she saw Carlos heading her way, she was inclined to go another direction but he was too close to escape him....
"What are you doing here...? Carlos ask slightly infuriated..
"Am under no obligation to answer to you father in law..... "Claude said back..
"Is my son also here...?
"No, my husband is at home carrying out his kings duties...... "
"Then you should be by his side, so go back home and do just that.... "Carlos blared out..
Claude gritted.... "Like i said, I Dont answer to you, so you have no right to push me around.... or tell me what to do and what not yo do"
"Am the kings father, your father-in-law.... "Carlos blared out..
"And am the kings wife, the queen of this land.... "Claude retorted.
Carlos grew furious, then he noticed people were beginning to look at them.... "We will continue this conversation later.... "He said, gave her a dirty look and walk away....
Claude inhale....
"Are you alright my queen.... "Rachael ask..
"Am fine.... "She replied with pant breathe...

Rita gigled as she holds hands with him and dance to the soft tense sound of the music.....
"The owner of this mansion must have a fortune..... "She said..
"Yes, whoever he is, he has done well for himself.... "James said..
"Do you aspire to own something like this someday.....? Rita ask
James chulkled.... "Building something like this is every man's dream, but why waste so much money, i will rather build a more relaxing and comfortable house and sow the rest of the moneh in the lives of the poor, homeless and less privileged ones... "
Rita smile... Her body quiver at the touch of his hands...... "But you men tends to forget this things when the money comes.... Its more like when the money comes, this strange spirit of spending so much on irrelevant things posses them, they forget that at one time they were so keen in helping the poor ones....
James huff then he tightened his grip on her"That seem to be true.. But when one is determined to do the right thing... He will surely do it... "
"Do you believe in that.....?
"With all might... "
She smile at him and he reciprocated the smile... Just then she saw Claude from behind him... "I should go greet the queen... "
"The queen is here? He ask turning backward....
"I will be back in a giffy.. "She said, smile at him again and left him....
James exhales.... "What is wrong with me...? He muttered

Claude frown, she wouldn't have come if she knew the party was going to be this crowded, this wasn't what she was expecting.....
"Hey beauty... "Jacob said from behind her..
She turn around to face him......
"My mistake... Hello your majesty... "He snapped...
"My queen, is there anything you need..? Rachael ask..
"Get lost maid, am talking to your queen... "Jacob blared at her
"What do you want...? Claude ask...
"What else than having a queen and a subject conversation.. "
"My queen.... "Rita shouted from behind them....
"Oh my God, Rita.... ,how are you...?
Jacob suck his teeth... "Are you nuts maid, am talking to the queen.. "
"You are the one who is nuts? Claude retorted.... "To think you can insult any of my maids so you can talk to me...... "She huffs.... Turn her attention to Rita, she hold her hands and walk away with her followed by Rachael.
Jacob groan.....


James sigh after he gulp down a glass of the wine in his Hands,he can't be falling for her.. But every feeling he felt whenever he waw around her was evident he was falling for her.. Falling hard.......
"I see keeping a common local girl to yourself proves more difficult than i realize.... "Jacob blared out from behind him...
James turn around to face him.... "Where you talking to me... ?
"Who else am i looking at besides you? Jacob ask back
"I don't understand, who is the common local ro whatever that you were referring to....?he ask curiously
"Who else than that leech you were gigling and dancing with... "Jacob retorted
"You mean Rita... ?
"So the maid has a name.... "Jacob said with disgust..
"She is not a maid anymore...."James interjects...
"Well whatever she is, i can't believe you let her running off your hands to stop the queen from talking to me, you couldn't handle a common girl, are you that bad with women.... "
"Excuse me, who the hell are you? James ask slightly infuriated..
"Am one of the millionaires son, who the hell are you....?
"Let me guess, you are nobody.... "Jacob added.... He exhales then continue... "Am not surprise though, there are lots of nobodys in this party, i thought Ferico Carter was a man of class, who would have thought the so call party, the talk of the town will be filled with bunch of nobodys... Poor,down and out vagrant paupers......
"I think you have had so much to drink, that is why you are spouting so much nonsense... "James said
just then they heard a sound.. they all turn to the direction of the sound, there they saw saw someone rolling, falling and clattering from the stairs.... some of the guests shouted as the person hit his head hard on the ground.. "
"Oh my God.........."James muttered
