pinpoint what our currency was going to do next, there is no telling if the right opportunities would be available offshore at that exact point in time. Our current circumstances are a case in point: the rand has recovered since its weak point last year, but assets in major developed markets such as the US are generally looking expensive.
A better strategy is to figure out how much of your investment portfolio you want to place offshore and what you are trying to achieve and then formulate a plan to invest as regularly as possible in carefully selected assets. Arguably, it is more important spending your time identifying which global assets you want to invest in for the long term, than determining the exact perfect entry point – which as we know is impossible to do reliably.

NB: I also play "Baba-Ijebu" on NSE but I truly know that it's "Baba-Ijebu" and I don't go around showcasing it as the best thing after sliced bread! We need to constantly draw that line, whether real or imaginary.

they still use the bank as their main bank for customers deposit and they are the only broker i know using the bank

hope they have no skye bank share

As we prepare for our period, pls any of Morgan capital representative here, or someone close to their management should pls ask them to open account with 1st/2nd tier banks like Zenith, GTB, ACCESS, UBA, FBNH, for their client. I am not comfortable again with them using only Skye bank due to fear of unknown, they should pls as matter of urgency change bank, or add another bank to their existing one.

i agree with u, still wondering why they stick to the bank. they might lose some customer

Here in SA, as you plan for financial freedom, you also plan for the ultimate guarantee which Nigerians do not like to hear. No matter how poor a South African is, they subscribes to a funeral or burial insurance.

U can't estimate what the local banks charge u in Nigeria
You only get to know after the completion of transaction. The issue is not wt d brokers in SA but the local banks in Nigeria.
Have u sent money via swift from a Nigeria bank b4? Then you will know that they are not transparent

For those that really want to diversity, I just discover this company in SA dz morning.
Though I have SA Id and registering with them will not be an issue
This company offers direct access to global market and commodities trading.
If you are able to register with them, you are as good as trading daily in US, UK, Japan, china etc

U will need to contact them, i am a permanent resident. The only thing dt could be a problem for Nigerians is lack of Tax identification number
If you have tax clearance from FIRS, and a Dom account, i believe they will register you
