This also happen to me, but the more i become matured I change. I think you should be patient and always ask why your partner or friends behave that way to you.

Ogbeni relationship is not by force, everyday we read news on how couples kill them self's and some hang themselves, why white men value contract wedding just to avoid pains and jealousy, why baby mama is every where. If you know you're not the type that take shit just go on contract relationship bcs people like you can do and undo when love go sour. Relationship is not for everybody but overrated in Africa.

My brother, it's d spiritual dat controls physical! It's not normal as u rightly said, U might have prayed lots of prayers u know, but u need someone wit higher grace to conduct a deliverance on u. It's forces dat fight against ur relationship in life, n dis can make 2remain single in life time! seek for a good deliverance ministry for deliverance.

You are just like me. It's because you've built a wall around your heart over time. It's good in some ways cos heartbreaks may not really affect you and you will find it easy to move on.

I'm confused.

How can you say you quit people easily when you kept a relationship for 5 years.
I'm sure through out the 5 years you were with her you've had multiple disagreements but you didn't give up on her easily or clear her memory from your head.

You seem to have blocked your heart and emotions to protect yourself from getting hurt.
You need to pray and also work on your psychology.

Read books on relationship. I recommend you read 'How to win friends and influence people' by Dale Carnegie.

In 2018, I made sure I came down from. my high horse because I believe PRIDE is a contributing factor to this disorder. I became consciously humble to people I meet(not to the extent of tolerating silly opinions though)

Must everything be attributed to being spiritual? Prayer this and prayer that. Some issues that can just be addressed normally or by people that were in similar situations but later found ways of managing it will be considered spiritual.

I have this character, it became more potent when I finished reading ROBERT GREEN's books.
I will say this comes with the making peace with the reality which states that all can fail apart from God and what you are determined to do, that's if you rely on somebody and secondly it makes you to be calm calculated and in check of you emotions.
Mine got so bad that my girl friend back in school was calling me a cold hearted beast because of some certain events and how I reacted to them.
The disadvantage is that sometimes you might be hasty in taking a decision and sometime you will need companionship you will see you really got no one to confide in.
But this attitude comes from have to understand that you possess a worth that you feel that the only people worth the hassle is people who put effort in making you a PRIOTY instead of an option

Most human beings aren't worth the stress.

I feel the same way as u do op, but I'm trying hard to quit the bad habit of quitting on people.
What scares me is the fact that I am perfectly comfortable existing on my own without feeling lonely.

I don't think it is a problem, I think it is a power that only few people possess.

Read books on how to build relationship. I recommend you read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. Am sure you will improve after you are through with the book.

Pls you need to see this as challenge that you need to cater for in time before it may affect you seriously in the future.
You have to learn how to build relationship and learn how to cope with different kinds of people because no human being is perfect as a result of many factors like background, up bringing,level of exposure, education etc.
May I tell you the fact that ,this can even affect your marital life because you can never see any perfect woman in as much she is a human being.
