What's that?

You can only pay US visa fees via GTB if you are resident in Nigeria.

I'm thinking he may have fallen for that fake US website

So you thought of agent and us before the us embassy itself.

I'd like to share this 126000 with your agent

I don't think you can pay u.s visa fees using a debit card in Nigeria. You can't even make an interbank transfer. It's either you go to any GT bank branch to make payment or you pay through your GT bank internet banking where you would see a menu specific for u.s visa fee payment.

Hello house, please I'll like to ask few questions. I applied for a B2 visa with an appointment scheduled for March, I want to go meet my boyfriend who is a US citizen for the first time only for a period of 1week. I have never been out of Nigeria. We intend to apply for k1/k2 visas for my 4year old son and I as soon as I return. My son won't be going with me on the first visit. Do I inform the VO of our intention to apply for a k1/k2 and if yes, at what point please? I also want to ask if there is need for us to apply for the k1/k2 now, so we can show the VO the proof of application or wait till when I get back. I'll be immensely grateful for answers.

So here it is...your best option is for your u.s citizen boyfriend to come to Nigeria first and get married to you. Afterwards, you could apply for a K1/K2 visa. You would stand a better chance that way. It might not be wise to say you are going on a visit first to see/meet your boyfriend in the U.S. that's a red flag cos it means you have stronger ties in the U.S than in Nigeria. Since you have already booked your appointment, I can only wish you best of luck.

Goodevening I went for an interview today but I was denied I have been to the Usa three times prior to the interview. Before the interview I filled in the form I had no relative in us. A day before the interview my agent said I should say my Mum was in us .This was the question as follows
VO Goodmorning
Me :Goodmorning
VO : where are you going to in the Usa
Me: Virginia Beach
VO: do u have any relatives in us
Me: my mum
VO : how did she go
Me: she divorced my dad so she moved on
VO: how long has she been married
Me :2 years plus
VO: was she married before or after
Me : after
VO:are u a student
Me: yes I am
VO: intended date of graduation
Me:June
VO: sorry you are not eligible hands me the blue paper

I don’t know why I was denied.

When next am filling the form should I indicate that I do t still have any relatives there and when I go for interview the next time I reapply should I still stand my ground I have no relative there. I hope it won’t affect me? Cause of my previous situation?? Will the VO be aware my mom is there if I say no I have no relatives??

I did not ask a question, I was answering someone that said he made payment with a mastercard and cannot access his receipt and that it is an online bank after i informed him to walk into any branch of his bank for receipt.

Don’t waste money when your circumstances haven’t changed. You were denied because your mother misused her visa (overstayed) and you are a flight risk.

Good day house.
I'm expecting an invite from an international educational conference taking place in the US June this year. I work in a bank at the moment, but I'm a budding academic. The conference will last for just three days and I will be self financing. I only want to stay for the period of the conference and return back.
What do I need to know pls to aid me in securing the visa?

The obvious question from the VO is to ask you what value would the conference add to your bank work. If you can give a convincing answer, you might stand a chance. Not sure the VO would be interested to hear about "budding academic".

I was wondering same

you see sometimes I really feel bad and ashamed for my country people.
If our people are less dubious dishonest; and quit trying to play smart with all these crooked things that they do, getting visas would not be much of an issue

It is our dishonestly, dubious and crooked ways that got us to this juncture

U.S. visas that people in the Caribbean get anyhow undecided

OK, I recently earned a doctorate degree with plans of leaving the banking industry for the academic world. This conference will in no small measure boost my CV as an aspiring academic. This is because it will be my first international conference on my area if study.

Will that response help?

Why take a very expensive risk by misrepresnting yourself. Consider the consequences of telling lies, including a ban. IT'S ALWAYS BETTER TO SAY THE TRUTH!!

It means you already bagged a PhD and I want to assume you captured it as part of your educational qualification when filling in your DS 160 form. Your explanation make sense and logical. However, do you have any travel history?

Hi all,
I am trying to schedule an appointment for B2 visa but the calendar always comes up blank with no dates showing to enable me pick. It has been like this for the past 4 days. I have used different browsers at different times of the day and it is still the same.
Can anyone assist?
