something similar happened to someone I know personally he jilted a lady he almost lost his life he just suddenly became sick doctors found nothing wrong with him he had to go to the village he became all thin we taught he had AIDS BUT after sometimes in the village he came back God we were all scared to even talk to him everyone taught it's over we taught he had only BUT few months to live BUT he is alive and well today they said it's spiritual attack

It's that moment when you smell a rat, become suspicious because at a point you have noticed something different because your guts/sixth sense tells you. Some people are professionals in masking any scent of suspicion in them....now it is left for you to act on it or ignore it. I have a knack for detecting wrong doings.

In relationships, once you start noticing changes in your partner's behaviour, and when you confront him/her, and you start getting excuses for almost all their wrong doings or they try to turn it around on you.
My ex started acting strange, I confronted her, she apologized and blamed it on 'imaginary' things on about 3 occasions, I just started retracting till I lost interest.
