Dencotext: Lol...dude, your stupidity just entered another gear... Okay please, people that do not eat meat with blood are also doing it to enforce the Mosaic Law abi? People that do not commit murder, bestiality, rape are also doing it to enforce the Mosaic Law right? Indians that have been sticking to their vegetarian diet for many centuries are enforcing the Laws of Moses they've never heard of abi? Ancient communities that have been practising circumcision as a rite of passage into puberty or as fertility rites...they're also enforcing the Law they know nothing about? Even the Jews whom God gave the Law to no longer stone rapists or fornicators to death...but one ignorant Nigerian is claiming I am enforcing the same outdated Law by being circumcised! (a painful decision I had no input whatsoever) Since you're arguing the Law of Moses is enforced by way of circumcision...why aren't you also tithing according to how the Law demands? |

Dencotext: Apart from Matthew 25 v 31-46 where Jesus clearly mentioned how the taking care of the less privilege was tantamount to giving to Him, [b]where else did Jesus advise how we can give to Him? By loading the church accounts with monetary tithes and offerings? Old wine in new wineskin... wehdone... @ Dencotext, I can see you've also said nothing concerning this... |

Dencotext: Unverified internet sources you said? To even think you're a first class graduate in computer science! I'm beginning to think this is another lie of yours on this thread... Wait...so you actually think Abraham started the concept of circumcision in the entire world? Historical evidences says otherwise! Do a thorough research and stop displaying ignorance here... |

alBHAGDADI:I know in any of your upcoming post you will definitely add this to buttress your claims. But when the arguments gets tougher you will either remain dumb or sneak out like a chicken as seen in other threads of yours....... alBHAGDADI I know you too well copy and paste Na your work. Satanists or idol worshipers that circumcised their male children are they keeping the law of Moses? Thieves, Kidnappers, prostitutes, murderers etc that used their money to help others are they doing it because of a love for Christ in their heart? alBHAGDADI:My friend will you keep quiet. Stop saying rubbish. Abel sacrifice a lamb as a burnt offering unto God which was acceptable to Him. alBHAGDADI this act precedes the law but now I'm asking you why is it not practice any longer today? The only thing that concerns believers and Abraham is his kind of FAITH. The promise God had with him has already been accomplished and we must key to that Promise and that promise is the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 4:11-16 KJV:And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12 KJV:And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13 KJV:For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 KJV:For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15 KJV:Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16 KJV:Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, alBHAGDADI:What is the spiritual implications of paying tithes as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ? alBHAGDADI:I know you know that your own hypocrisy is filled all over nairaland. Thanks. God bless. |

Maximus69: Jesus said in Mark 3 v 35; 35 For whosoever doeth the will of God, he is my brother, my sister, and my mother. If you are doing the will of God, you're Jesus' brother...so let's not get it twisted that it's just a special set of people referred to in Matthew 25 v 31-46 However, I agree with you...it was Jesus' brethren...and not just anyone... Maximus69: Who are these 144,000 humans? are they JW members? Maximus69: Same applies to many countless martyrs since the early church till date... same applies to those who help assist the brethren of Jesus and...Jesus defined His brethren as those that do the will of the Father... Maximus69: Count it all joy that you are persecuted for the sake of spreading the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven... many are still living in ignorance...but God help us all (both ignorant and enlightened) to see, accept and walk in the Truth Maximus69: What does it mean to be born again? Maximus69: Provided God is worshiped in Spirit and Truth...such worship is acceptable unto Him... I wanted to quote some scriptures from James...but I guess Mark 3 v 35 has done a lot of justice as to whom Jesus' brethren are... and how the Sheep are rewarded for helping them as per Matthew 25 v 31-46 |

Re: The Significance of Tithing and Firstfruits for Believers by OkCornel(m): 12:30pm On Jun 13, 2019 |
Dencotext: How can we be enforcing a Law Apostle Paul already clearly said is decaying and fading away around 2,000 years ago because of circumcision? Anyways, the fact remains that...monetary tithing and first fruits was not practiced in the early church... It was simply freewill giving that was practiced... 2 Corinthians 9 v 7; Not all these nonsense aberration and twisting of the scriptures we are seeing to cajole people into parting with thier money If you disagree, bring up scriptural evidences to counter this! |
Re: The Significance of Tithing and Firstfruits for Believers by Nobody: 12:40pm On Jun 13, 2019 |
Dencotext:If you like give tithes and first fruits that's not my business. What I am after is that you don't use it to rub others. If you insist all believers must pay tithes and give first fruits then it must be done according to the law and all other laws must be kept and obeyed as directed by Moses. BTW THE LAW WAS NOT FOR THE GENTILES BUT ONLY FOR THE JEWS. Giving one-tenth, Quarter, Triple, Double or all of your earnings in cash or kind is good and acceptable by God if it comes from a willing heart and love for Christ. However those that are not able to perform this should understand that it is neither compulsory nor by force and they are not cursed or will be curse if they fail to do it, they should be upbraided to give as concluded in their own heart and most especially as directed by the Holy Spirit. The purpose of circumcision in the old testament has already been fulfilled thereby making it obsolete and same with the mosaic law bro. Thanks. God bless. |

Maximus69: It is purely your prerogative to disagree or refuse to use the Name of the Messiah. There is compulsion in that regard. However, does he have an Igbo, German, Greek, French or English name? What is it and what does it mean? It is even a great and sweet idea. Isaiah to Yeshayahu, Jeremiah to Yeremyah, etc. Don't they look and sound great? I don't see anything wrong with returning the Scriptural names to their Hebraic pronunciation. The name and the teachings of Yahushua the Messiah are very important. He, Yahushua the Messiah, is the Word of the Father, YHVH Almighty. The name of the Father shows his identity. Yahushua the Messiah bears the Father's name. One cannot regard the teachings and disregard his name or identity. |

One Satanist is digging up Wikipedia to try to justify his circumcision. Same Wikipedia that gets edited anyhow. Same Wikipedia articles written by people who were born thousands of years after the so-called events. He claims ancient Egypt use to circumcize before Abraham. Very funny of him. How come the children of Israel didn't practice circumcision until Moses came with the law? Didn't they live in Egypt? Yeye dey smell |

OkCornel: Homosexual Satanist Okcornel says the children of Israel didn't need to copy circumcision from the Egyptians. He said that as he maintained his stance that Egypt practiced circumcision before God ordered Israel to do same. Despite the children of Israel who lived in Egypt for 400 years and who didn't know their God nor his laws, he still believes they didn't follow the culture of the Egyptians. Moses did. Acts 7:22 (KJV) 22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. Yet he believes the other children of Israel didn't learn same. I don't blame the homosexual Satanist 1 Like |
